fault,that somebody drops out of school. Now you can blame politicians to a certain degree forthe quality
of the diploma,but you should have decent lieracy and matematics skills if you just paid attention

There is still legislation needed to balance all the discriminatory policies that were established against African Americans..........
See at some point the government cant solve everyything people like being around people
they comfortable with. Affirmative action only has had a marginal affect,and welfare only helps up to a certain level
and welfare probably causes as many problems as it solves

What pulled the US out of the Depression was the war effort & manufacturing, not finance and banking. America's manufacturing base isn't even a fraction of what it used to be (thank globalization for that). The increase in technology (which also eliminated thousands of jobs) and the change from a manufacturing society to a finance based society is a drastic change and indicative of the problems America has right now.
America's middle class has been gutted. With the loss of thousands of jobs in all sectors and government cutting even more jobs there is no stability for the average person to be able to buy homes or contribute to society in any meaningful way. So what does this mean? That the people with money have to do the contributing and as you mentioned they decide to just sit on it. Trillions in the bank only mean trillions not being used in the economy and money not used can't benefit anyone other than those holding it.
American wealth is concentrated at the top, its isn't a good barometer of how the country is doing or the direction its going in. Our unemployment rate is dropping primarily because people have been dropped from the work force, schools are closing all over the country, plenty cities and counties are still under tremendous financial pressure due to the vanishing tax bases.
Government spending helped before but America has gone backwards ideologically since then. The government doesn't believe in spending anymore, instead its cutting and last I checked cutting isn't growth. Because of that damn sequester more people are losing jobs, again people of all pay grades and education levels all over the country thus affecting the economy of their corner of the country.
For those that are working, they should know pay stagnation has happened as productivity has increased its been the trend over the last 30 years. So people are working harder for less than they used to if they are even working at all.
So without another internet boom, or a resurgence of manufacturing and government spending this trickle-down economics experiment needs to be over immediately or revolution will be forthcoming. Its only a matter of time before Americans are in the streets like the Greeks and Cypriots because this trend is nowhere near reversal. No reforms took place from the last meltdown, so I have no reason to believe that a positive change is on the horizon. The wolves have been guarding the hen house for far too long. -
Obama cant cure crackers of their hatred of blacks from the Oval Office. A lot of things that could reverse the root cause of unemployment with blacks can only be done at the local legislative level.
A white man with a felony is more likely to be hired for a job than a black man with a clean record and the same qualifications. Putting "White" on your application gets you more call backs. An anonymous poll of Fortune 500 company executives found that there are still a multitude of stereotypes whites have about blacks that prevent them from hiring blacks. All this can be researched and all the studies were done professionally so it cant be dismissed as ? .
Only Congress can develop programs that change this. The president speaking about it will change nothing. The root of the problem is crackers are evil & blacks are not independent. We shouldnt really even have to worry about a ? "GIVING" us anything. We should have our own corporations and self-created opportunities. BUt wait - crackers control the banks, who control the money (line of credit) you need to start a business in the first place. A black person with the same credit score of a white male is still LESS likely to get the loan than the white male. Even though both have the same history of repayment. Its a ? game.

we spend a lot of money, but we prefer to give it to other groups instead of to ourselves
black business owners love to embrace low standards because serving black customers is just a "hustle"
if we changed out collective mindset to want to build, the money is there...........we don't need to rely on any white man to give us a loan

Yes, the problems ARE cultural.
Obama can't do much because general federal legislation will just be countered by specific state legislation that nullifies this. Local government affects people more directly than federal legislation. No President can undo everything that governors and state governments.
You watching all these Youtube videos and copying and pasting news don't prove a point. The Dream Act for Immigration that Obama pushed through was a placeholder for further legislation. He gives young minorities time to get legit or get deported. Just kids of illegals who came without a choice with their parent. You need to get your ? straight before you start the bashing.
You don't know how government works, the real role of the President nor do you understand the black community for real.
And you SHOULD give up on the ? who skip out on a free diploma that'll help negate them needing a President to lift them up. They'll have to figure life out when they hit rock bottom or something. -
How to Weaken a President
Republicans are clearly looking to do more than just deprive Mr. Obama of victories, however. The ultimate goal is to make him appear powerless and weak, a flailing figure who is unable to affect the midterm elections or give the next Democratic nominee a boost.
Taking heat on a gun vote is worth it if it leads to a reporter asking the president whether he still has any "juice" left with Congress, as one did yesterday. And it leads to an even bigger payoff if the president stumbles in his response, forced to assert that rumors of his demise are premature.
The president is representing the vast majority of the American people when he advocates for stronger gun laws, or immigration reform, or a budget that includes tax hikes for the rich and greater spending on national priorities. When Republicans try to make him look bad by resisting all these things, he's not the only one who's being insulted.
