Used to happen to me a lot when I was in high school. It's like being choked to death while you can't do anything about it. I've heard it's diet based so I ended changing my eating habits and it stopped shortly after

? happens to me but only lasts about 5-10 seconds. I'm also a lucid dreamer . Had a convo with my ? and my boss about it the other day. Never seen any weird ? like y'all ? talking bout tho. But I have had that voice tell me to wake up. Its usually happens when I sleep through my alarm.

Whenever I'm extremely sleep deprived. Happened to me during finals week all the time. I now know how to control it by moving one finger at a time.

@OP, start timing the onset/duration/precipitating factors...it's manageable after that. -

But this is not in reality. I always wake up when I realize its a dream. Is this what ur experiencing or is it in real life where u are paralyzed?
That happens to me too. I'm used to them now but they freaked me out the first few times it happened -
? happened to me this morning. Happens a couple times a month. The crazy ? is I can move my foot but it doesn't wake me. I always lay my foot on my girl and kick her so she can wake me. We call it being stuck

man i used to have them. havent had them for a while though. but the ? up thang is i knew it was coming cause i would here a loud pow or boom and it would happen. first i used to see shadows, then the shadows had red eyes then one day i was like ? it if it happens again im gone see whats up with the shadows with red eyes. well it happened and those shadows with red eyes started to talk so now i dont ? around. when i here that boom or pow ? im up and atom

happened twice to me.. once when i was 19.. scared the ? out of me... awake and just couldnt move.. then it happened like 2 years ago.. was just as bad but i KNEW what it was this time, so i just waited it out

Once I came to merica that ? has happened to me a couple times.
One time I seen a zombie like thing walk in the room.towards me and I couldn't do ? but look.
Scary ? .
Usually when it happens I start moving a toe or finger(like Beatrice in ? bill) till everything starts to respond.
? isn't fun but I just do not panic and wait it out. -

Exact scenario is mine except that when i used to sleep in a bigger bedroom, i used to see "things" or "shadows" suspending in the corners...you know the folklore with our folks lol -

I get that same feeling like im being held down or it feels like im being drug outta bed it is the weirdest feeling
