The culture that allows this to kind of thing continue should be confronted. And if that means using Bieber to represent the face of that culture then that's fine by me. But that won't happen and white folks will continue to try and pass off racism as "humor." -

But, at the end of the day, a joke being a joke, regardless of it's corniness, is a joke, right?
It's an old joke, a super lame one at that, but does this immediately make him racist?
What differences does it make from Justin Beiber to a comedian? Granted, JB, isn't a comedian, and neither is anyone here, but the words and jokes, that are racially targeted, get thrown around on here on the daily.
From white posters saying the n-word or making racist jokes to the black posters doing the same exact thing.
Does it excuse his stupidity? No. It doesn't make what he said funny. It's simply stupid.
Doesn't make him "racist", though. And that has nothing to do with who he hangs with. I just don't see a reason to label him a racist for rattling off a ? joke.
But, should it be confronted? Sure, as long as all racial jokes are confronted, right?
