They cater to 2 completely different audiences though. I don't think anybody is expecting this to make Star Wars money but it will make money.
Personally I won't be watching Episode VII but I'll go to the cinema for this one.
No I won't be missing out since I was never interested in watching it in the first place. -
Finally Walter goggins looks like he's playing a Boyd like character.... Dope
-
Django was good, not great
Reservoir Dogs, ? Bill, Pulp Fiction and Inglorious ? are great
Been a min since i seen Jackie Brown, cant say
Dude has an untouchable track record -
Looks dope. I think Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds are his two greatest films. But this looks like it might be up there.

It's time to restart that Goat Director Tournament

No need to restart that ? . My vote not changing

Yes, yes it was and some of y'all have ? taste in movies. Someone put Michael Bay as a favorite director.

Nah, I was gonna only make it with 16 directors, the first one was with 32 , too many mismatches.fortyacres wrote: »

All directors have had bombs and yes some of Spike's have been epic bombs. That still doesn't take away from the great movies he has done.
To me Spike's best movies are better than QT. They also make 2 different styles of movies though so I don't really judge them like that.
Put it this way if Chi-raq and Hateful Eight came out on the same day and I was interested in both. I would go see Spike movie first. -
Nope going this weekend though. If its awful I will come back here and say it was so. -

Exactly! Spike and Tarrentino make different types of films and they shouldn't be compared because of this. Of course it's easier for all types of people to digest movies that have no edge or social commentary.
That's not a knock on QT either because I love a lot of his movies but a decent amount of Spike's movies are geared toward a particular audience and have a boat load of social commentary in it which automatically will turn many folks away from viewing the movie.
Both are great directors that have some duds but I love a lot of both guys work collectively for two totally different reasons. -

Grindhouse and deathproof maybe ???
You realize they're the same right? Grindhouse was just the title for the combo of Deathproof and Planet Terror. -

Quentin only did death proof. Paul Rodriguez did the other. I actually didn't mind death proof. It was probably that car chase that had me
