Man... *phew*... Helluva performance. With everything that's been happening, songs and performances like this have a gravity about them that can't be put into words. Moving music. I need iTunes and Cole to make this available asap. And I want this/the live version.

he didnt wanna profit off of that song -
My opinion, besides G.O.M.D., this ? fire. Almost a classic. 4.5/5.0. GOMD is the only flaw. Maybe I'll learn to like it later. But Cole definitely delivered & I ain't a fan of his.

Big Ups to Cole tho for real

imma have to give that to Drew Barrymore flashing her ? , Demi More's hoe ass strippin for "top 10", or the weird ass Joaquin Phoenix interview.
...but probably my favorite music performance -
I ain't listen to Cole in a min. Gonna give this a listen when I get paid though. One of the few artists I'll take a chance on and break bread with.

Wet dreamz got a school daze feel

It's okay on first listen. Instant classic, classic, no I don't think so. Will listen once more before I say where it fits.

I like it alot more on the second listen.

"you got to be intelligent to get J Cole's music"
Every time i see this ? i want to slap the ? outta a J Cole fan. I'm a fan but ain't nothing complex about dudes music. We aren't speaking Lupe, Pharoah Monche, etc triple layers of entandres and wordplay. lol -
To the ? saying 4.5...Do you seriously believe there's no gap between this album and all the classics? Cause that's what you're implying. Fix your scale, it's broken.

Well i don't believe you compare albums (current ones) to different era classics. You have to judge everything according to the time period it came out and the impact it made in that era.
I personally feel this album is almost playable from front to back (aside from Hello). More importantly i feel this album reflects what's going on in this country right now (racism towards black men, poverty, money, etc). It's a needed album, a socially conscious album that didn't come off as preachy like most conscious rap albums do. -
Just got done with the first listen and letting it soak
from first listen....Cole dropped a really great album
its up there with Cadillactica
