Bruh ECW was so good. I think WWF stole more from ECW than we give EcW credit.

Watching Scott Armstrong aka Scotty 2 Hotty vs Tazz and WWF really castrated this ? moveset and style like they do with most indie guys.

Chris Candino was bad ass also in ECW. Him vs Mikey Whilwreck was some good ? .

I think the Stone Cold character took a lil bit from Taz actually personality and attitude wise (even tho he basically ran with the Sandman ? a lil bit more obviously). Watching Taz in 96 telling Flash Funk to get the ? out my ring.

ECW took awhile to get good I say maybe earlly 96 or late 95 it started hitting its stride.

It was beautiful chaos. It had every style imagine possible but sold itself as a ? product from the imagery to even down to the music.

Ecw gets blame for influencing ? like czw, but not enough credit for its pure technical wrestling, lacked psychology at times but still greatness

ECW is the most influential wrestling organization that ever existed. Paul Heyman was and is a genius in the business.

Heyman is a creative genius but ECW killed itself with the nature of the product...which is Heyman's fault.

He had a great short term business plan and executed well.

Heyman made it clear he planned on pushing out ? matches, but his only fault was he was doing it too late. ECW could have easily out done WCW.

Heyman said if they could haver gotten a TV deal when raw went to TNN/Spike Tv, , ECW would have survived.

Hey man tryna handle everything even to the detriment of his own health ultimately cost him, he delegated some but not enough, then of course tnn ? ? among other things

Wasn't nothing they could do. ECW wasn't mainstream and shouldn't have been trying to be. He fought to keep ? that was detrimental to his business because that was the stuff that made the business successful in the first place.

TNN/Spike had some ? rules for the product but he signed the contract. If a channel like FX existed back then ECW might have had somewhere else to go but no other network was pushing it back then. The company couldn't survive or rather grow off syndication.

All the over the top ? should have been deaded.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that the original plan for the WWE Roadblock Network special was for Triple H to face Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar with HHH pinning Ambrose to win. There’s speculation that WWE purposely wants to book Ambrose as the ultimate underdog similar to Daniel Bryan, making it so the fans will cheer for him even more. There are no plans to turn Ambrose at this time even though the company needs a strong top heel to feud with Roman Reigns after Wrestlemania.

Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt, which was originally scheduled for Wrestlemania, is currently planned for the Roadblock event.

Which means they'll eventually turn him heel. We saw it happen to CM Punk a few years ago.

Other than ur New Jack special or a flaming table spot ion really remember over the top ? on ecw on tnn, that axle /Ian rotten rematch type ? was owe wit by then , maybe could have upgraded the set a bit, toned down the catfight or used more original music but other than that idk, I would think the raw feel heyman wanted would save the network money

Ravishing Rick Rude and Joey Styles was a gold commentary combo in ECW while it lasted.

John Cena should thank Lou Spicolli for the Spicolli Driver.

Who started the lights off gimmick first? Sabu or Taker? Or neither?

Kronus is more impressive athlete than Brock. 260 ish and 6'3" doing backflips out the ring and 450 splashes. RIP brother

Pitbull #1 was the precursor to Goldberg, not Stone Cold, but maybe Ken Smamrock.

Did I mention Kronus was a ? already?

Watching the ECW from 93-2001 24/7 stream

    Emma injured at NXT Cleveland

    24mujwl.jpg

Opening match of NXT Cleveland was Emma vs Asuka. Asuka caught her with a stiff kick to the face after her set of spinning back fists and Emma stayed down. The ref had to call the match and trainers had to come out to carry Emma to the back. (She was able to stand but it took a minute or two.)

Emma is the best female wrestler in NXT at the moment. She can work but she is pretty much a gatekeeper down there now.

Man I LOVE the dynamic with Emma and Dana Brooke they're great heels for the female division. Is Emma better than Asuka? (I'm asking not debating) I enjoy them both.

We definitely need to see this new Emma character on Raw sooner or later, her heel character is way better than that bubbly ? she used to do.
