I'm pretty sure he ran a certain, or better yet the ONLY race that would result in the required support for someone in his position to become POTUS, but now that he won, he's going to actually try to fix this country from a place of logic and critical thinking. -

This. It's a "? Trump" rally, nothing more, nothing less. The idea of Trump as president is crazy, but he won, plain and simple. Even if you want to change the system, that won't change the fact that Trump won the election. The racist CaCs had to accept it when Obama won. These people will have to accept it too.
If people protest like this every time something they don't like happens, then these types of protest will become even more ineffective than they already seem to be. -

A Trump presidency will have lasting effects especially if he appoints more than one Supreme Court Justice and he institutes measures such ss stop and frisk as he suggested.
I suspect Trump is mostly talk and the people around him will be de-facto president, but honestly Pence, Giuliani, and even Mitch McConnell if they can get on one page scare me more than Trump.
Trump is mostly talk, charisma, and witty insults those other guys have the smarts and knowledge of government to get potentially crippling legislation passed.
We've lived through other janky presidents we'll live through Trump too.
This isn't a Reagan or Bush scenario. I mostly agree but this White House is born of spite and pettiness. Half the ? they will do will be because they can, not in some misguided sense of doing the right thing.
Reagan was experimenting and ? up a lot. Bush was a lovable idiot who might have had his heart in the wrong place. This Trump ? though? This is juvenile meanness. That's it. Its a temper tantrum so this can potentially lead to society being tossed backwards not to help anyone but to merely hurt others. -
