All i kno is im not voting for hillary

What i dont understand is how some folk, who allegedly back democratic principles and, acknowledge Republicans seem to be on some us vs them ? racially, how those people would rather sit back and let Trump become president just bc they dont 'like' Hillary

Then in the same breath say the president is just a figurehead

Which he/she is....ok, so in that case,
you are voting for democratic policies regardless of who the figure head is. You supposed to vote for WHOEVER the democratic nominee ends up being if u really care

    That's what i dont get ....

See this is why you can't have these conversations with most people. They speak from a position of absolute certainty without knowing any of the information.

You do know Bernie Sanders has spent his career as an Independent who only caucused with the Democratic Party right? That he only registered to the party last year as he was announcing his run for presidency? He's running as a democrat for strategic purposes and isn't beholden to the party which is why the DNC doing their damndest to see to it that Hillary gets the nomination (ie. restricting Sanders access to his own voter database due to their own error/running debates on weekends when viewership would be lowest).

As far as the figurehead stuff you should really do some research on campaign finance reform, it's effect on policies, each candidates position on it and their records as far as it is concerned.

That is rabbit hole right there.

Jeb has no shot in hell.. Trump destroyed him like @Sion said Trump is a lot of things.. and most of them negative but he knows how to play people. knows how to get under their skin.. He was masterful at taking Jeb out of the game.. and every attempt Jeb has made to get back at Trump has made him look like a ? fool. Not only get back at trump but get bak in the race.. I know that ? has to be killin him.. he has been burning money he might as well.

Very true Jeb has been neutered by the conservative base and trump. He is a moderate like his brother. To far right leaning repubs, moderates are dems of another color.

What are the issues with Bernie? From facts not opinion.

For one thing he wants to raise taxes on the rich to pay for his social programs. but they already pay a large % of taxes. Which means he will have to redefine how much money is " rich".

Also notice he almost never talks about foreign policy, and when he does he speaks swiftly about it and tries to change the subject

The rich spend alot of money getting out of taxes. they have a report out documenting billions of dollars that are laundered through the Caribbean islands. All from wealthy Americans avoiding taxes. I could speak for days about the Irish and corporate tax scheme.

Yes but even with that they still pay a large % of taxes. Also america has some of the highest corporate taxes on earth. Bernie most likely would want to increase that.

If he just closed a couple of loopholes of the tax code, They will be paying more. The more money you make the more taxes you pay.

The wealthiest 10 percent of U.S. households have captured a whopping 76 percent of all the wealth in America. The top 0.1% of families pay the equivalent of 37.9% and the bottom 20% have negative tax rates (that is, they get more money back from the government in the form of refundable tax credits than they pay in taxes).

If these politicians would just speak more like Trump and add some funny ad-libs they could probably make some waves. Christy is probably the one closes to Trump as far as speaking goes.

As far as Scandinavia is concerned.. I went to Stockholm for a week. that sh*t was beautiful. Saw a lot of fathers pushing strollers ... Like way to many .. The youth dressed like a Cheap Monday Ad .. Not as many blonds as I expected ... Beautiful scenery ... Ikea clean and simple.

Anyways ... I bet people thought Social Security was a "Radical" concept to.. just saying.

Hillary showed alot in the Benghazi testimony and some of those debate performances
She is a strong candidate who has command of all the issues she is principled she also seeks to carry out Obamas legacy ..Bernie cant win and wont win for a number of reason most prominently his own branding. This is an important election because this next president can solidify or change the course of the Supreme Court and how they move.. we cant afford to have a Rep in the house.. Not only will they destroy all of the progressive policies.. but they can prop up conservative leaning majority in the Supreme court.

Bernies presence has been good for her.. but on some real ? if the republicans Hillary bashing campaign wasn't so successful he wouldnt have the appeal or perceived viability he has.

The Benghazi hearing and other efforts by the GOP to bash Hilary have been a complete failure

Bernie appeal, same as Trump, is his authenticity, and his stance on campaign reform

Anti-Wall street sentiment and income inequality being at an all time high has helped as well

I think ppl are underestimating Bernie, especially considering the changing landscape of American politics. Socialism isn't as bad a word as it once was. And than he's generating excitement everywhere he goes unlike that of hilary. Not to mention the money he's been able to raise from small donations.

Hilary principles? Her biggest obstacle has always been an authenticity problem, one of her own creation ...her stance on issue seem to change based on her audience or polling numbers...than she says she's ready to get hard on Wall street but they are some of her biggest donators...

Can't say her time at the state department gives her an edge in regards to foreign policy...Libya, for instance, has fallen into chaos... she voted for the war in Iraq, Bernie didn't ...but I guess if you were a fan of Obama's foreign policy agenda, she's your woman

And yes, the next president will more than likely nominate 2 new Supreme court justices. That's big. I keep trying to tell people who say they will sit home...though I rather Bernie get the nod, Hilary has my vote all things considered

I dont fan political figures I either support or dont.. No matter who they are none of them will completely cover all our interest it is unrealistc Whether it is a ? a hispanic or anything under the sun... But what an happen is what he have had that they are against the status quo and are favorable to things that benefit us all.. and hopefully US.. Ive never been the type to say the lesser of two evils... thats a cop out..

    Favorable... Not Favorable...

Neither should you or anyone else... Bernie not voting for Iraq was a yes or no.. that ? aint enough credit to get you a seat at the white house or say that .. even in some Clinton errors thats makes him capable..Clinton is capable to a say the least.. She does take general easy issues to tackle.. most recently she invoked BLM among other things in a very specific way...Great that means we can hod her feet to the fire to me accountable on those words. To make even more strides and have a greater focus even though it will be couched in all.

America is not ? Scandinavia you ? idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!! Los Angeles has a large population than all of ? Sweden.

    Norway has 5 million
    Denmark has about 6 million.

the Scandinavian nations are also homogeneous. Compare that to the ethnicity mixed USA with it's population of about 300 million.

They also said in 2007 Obama was the worst choice to face off against McCain versus Hillary and John Edwards SMMFH.

Sanders would get washed by Trump,
he says very intelligent things, has great ideas, he's a good man but wouldn't be able to raise as much money as Trump, isn't as appealing to other demographics and the Republicans would rail him for being too "radical" and old - you'd also lose New York and California which is a huuuge deal. He's much easier to beat than Hillary. Trump would overwhelm Sanders via popularity and consistency and ? him.

Like Hillary or not but she has the charm the money, popularity, the demographics (she's got women, black people and Hispanics), delegates (as long as she runs a clean campaign) and background to defeat Trump.

my dude, with all due respect, with most recent polls, have shown this to be a complete and total lie bruh. in opposition to both cruz and trump in the Iowa and New Hampshire Caucases, sanders is beating them when matched together with double digit points. this is not the same for hilary.

if youre going to spout something about american politics, please be informed.

in principle, it seems to me to be a hugeeee conflict of interest to vote for a candidate who is overwhelmingly beholden to their corporate masters who fund their campaigns and are obliged to pay them back in the forms of tax cuts... contracts etc etc etc... if you dont mind the bailouts of 08, which honestly amount to nothing less than corporate welfare, except it encompasses a level of economic security that has in no way, shape of form has been experienced in regular american welfare... go ahead and vote for an establishment candidate.

but dont come back ? when its things running as usual. atleast there is a chance of some change with bernie.

Yeah but what kind of change????

Bernie just seems too wishy washy. Trump and Hilary at least have some spine in them. Bernie will get steamrolled and puppeted.

Why would ANYBODY vote for decrepit ass Bernie Sanders?

Aint he like 80 for real?

Even if he got the dem vote, his ass would be dead before he could even be swore in.

Not to mention all these ridiculous ideas he has that will never come to fruition in any of our lifetimes.

anyone with a sense of realistic expectations knows that he more than likely would not be able to establish the policies in the form of what he has put forth so far. But for me personally seeing his track record and consistency has led me to believe that he isnt going to turn his back on the american people. this means more to me than anything else.

this is a joke... right?? his congressional record is literally one of his biggest strengths. its a major reason why people like myself are going to vote for him.

quick question. so do you believe that Hilary would best represent your will, when she is beholden to say, Goldman Saches to the tune of millions of dollars of campaign finance? do you think shes going to vote for things in your favor? or them?

Trump and Sander's greatest strengths lie in their Anti Establishment message. it is the reason that both have seen a meteoric rise in their popularity so quickly. the good ole "throw millions of dollars towards campaign finance and commericals, with guaranteed payback" game is clearly over. its the reason the republicans are ? themselves over trump, and democrats increasingly supporting sanders

The founding fathers would have a president like Bernie Sanders shot.
