    Wow.
Josh Norman has held DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Evans, TY Hilton, Dez Bryant, Julio Jones to combined 9 rec/89 yards (@nflnetwork research).

    How sway?

Julio Jones had 200+ yards against the panthers one game

He had a good year. Top 5 year.

But 1 year don't mean you're on that level.

Carson Palmer had a better year than A. Rodgers and Brees. Don't mean he's on their level.

You're only good and should be label one the best of you do it year in year out.

But Ima give props to that defense as a whole. Because any defense that had those two Safetys playing good is crazy.

But Ima say that has more to do with the LBs and pass rush.

Probably the best 3 WRs in the league says Norman is a solid CB. Nothing special. They say the tape don't lie. He don't cover WRs. They stay in Cover 2 with help over the top.

I'll take the word of those dudes and gat I seen.

Hell against ODB he was double 13 out of the 16 times Norman covered him.

CB with big personalities don't get a lot of props from opposing WR cuz they talk trash. can you find me quotes from top WR praising Sherman as the best CB.

you point to the 200 yard game but ask numbaz or any falcon fan...Julio was locked up the previousb3 match ups by Norman

I watched that second game. JOnes had 7 catches for over 90 yards lined up 1v1 vs Norman.

PP is the best corner. He don't worry where they line up. Because he follows them. And still put up a better year than Norman according to the ppl who track it.

    5th year pro
    5 time Pro Bowler
3 time 1st team All Pro
    17 career INTs

    4th year pro
    1 pro bowl
    1 1st team all pro
    7 career INTs

    But Norman is better right?

He didn't give up a game tying TD.

    It was a Hail Mary.

He gave 0 catches that game with a pick 6 called back.

His numbers was identical to Norman this year. With a better overall grade though.

It's no primary defender on a Hail Mary.

Him and Johnson was the nearest defenders and he caught it.

But what are you trying to prove?

Norman gave up a big first down in the Super Bowl and dropped 2 HUGE INTs.

Sherman gave up a big play against Carolina.

    So what's your point?

PP is 3 time first team all pro in 5 years and probably would have got it last year if he would have found out he had diabetes sooner.

3 time 1st team all pro

Last year gain a lot of weight playing with diabetes and didn't even know. Probably would have been another 1st team all pro.

So you saying that's not better than Norman or any other player that was named.

    GTFOH.

Hopkins top 5 now......lol. Don't get me wrong hopkins got next what he did with those QBs reminds me almost of what Josh Gordon did with nobody QBs. Probably get a bunch of no signs, but if Josh Gordon is for real about this ? and doesn't get hurt seriously he will be the best in the league top 5 WR all time

Bruh you can't try to devalue Norman's production because of the second game against Julio, and then ask what's your point, when guys bring up mistakes Peterson has had. Norman balled out in the Super Bowl, 1st team all pro, and he's about to get paid. All this I gotta see more stuff doesn't matter. From a technical standpoint Norman's year last year is better than any year Peterson ever had. Sherman's best year's put him as the unequivocal number 1 though.

Yall sitting here debating CB but if they have a horrible D-line they will be put on the crucifix. You can only cover someone for so long.

PP, Sherman, Norman, Talib, Revis most of the top CB in the league have pass rushers. Put them on teams without a pass rush and see how good there stats will be.

All of those CBs are good players but they are great when the QB cant just sit back there and pick them apart.

Also scheme is key. Sherman plays in a Defense that has nearly perfected their scheme w/ zone coverages. Why put my CB out there on a island if I dont have to? Let my pass rush do the work. Now all they have to do is not lose the battle in the first 4-5 seconds. In the case of a scrambling QB that may be 9-11 seconds.
