No congrats for the portrayal of the black people in those shows though.

#1 - have you watched either show? There are also 4 black main characters in how to get away with murder.
#2 - I don't understand this line of thinking. Why must black people be portrayed as perfect? They are FICTIONAL characters. It's a drama series, it would be boring if they had no flaws or depth. Sounds a little "respectability politic-ish" to me. White people watch, what will they think of us all? Who tf cares?
