Ah that's dope. I hope these dlcs they plan on doing have a shitload of content to use all these after main quest loots.
-
I'm on the last level. Noctis be looking like his pops outchea...got a ? work schedule till Friday. I'll beat it than..I thoroughly enjoyed this game.
-
Surprised nobody pointed this out yet, but the Regalia is clean as hell.
-
Just copped. It's my first FF game ever. Looking forward to playing it soon.
-
i dont know, but somehow that ending lost me lol, still a great game

I gotta say, Noctis is my favorite main character out of all FF. Just off how be be acting like he got to clean up spilled milk or something, when he has to ? a huge boss monster. "Are you kidding me?"
It's like the rest of them were just standard main characters in a story, there is nothing about them that makes me say, "Aye yo, this mf is cool as ? ." Not even Cloud's "cool" poses.

I'd say Cecil, Cloud, Squall, and Lightning all have the quality you're attributing to Noctis. In fact I'd go as far as to say that Noctis is more emotive that them. A few times Gladio has to check Noctis for whining or bugging out. With characters like Cloud and Lightning, they just plain didn't give a ? .
I do like the cast of FFXV though. Except for Prompto. He strikes me as a ? . That one sidequest scene he had with Noctis where he was basically going at your boy like he had a crush on him in school or something. -

I don't really view them as the same, they lack Noctis casual joking nature.
Light had an attitude problem during the majority of XIII.
Squall was just completely indifferent about everything.
Cecil, I played FF4 but don't remember what he was like.
Only one that comes close to be is Cloud, and that's only before he discovered he was messed up in the head. I accidentally removed a part of my post where I said maybe Cloud can compete after the FF7 remake is released, if the devs don't ? it up, new gaming tech is part of the reason Noc can express his personality more than the others. -
I think the joking part is unique to Noctis, but you're also kinda giving his character all the credit for something that is really due to party make up. The whole game is like a buddy romp. It's four guys that grew up together working towards common goals. There is a level of familiarity and casualness there that wouldn't even be possible in any of the other games due to the difference in parties. Not only that, but the storylines in the other FF games strike me as being far more serious than in this game. I'd say I'm a little more than halfway through the game, and your party is still kinda just dicking around taking things as they come. Compare that to some of the other games, and at this point you're probably already inescapably deep in some ? . I mean your party is relatively chummy with the people that took over their land and killed Noctis' father. ? is weird.

I swear this game is dope as hell. I been playing it for min. It seems like the game is endless. I wish I got to FF early, though 15 is tough as hell.
-
So this game took 10 years to make but with only 3 years of development. Chinese ppl are falling off hard
-

Finished the story part of the game earlier in the day.
Gameplay is fun, but the story is ass.Started off as a coming of age themed story, and then suddenly warped into a story of sacrifice. As a result, the story had a very bad build up for the ending. -

Honestly, the story is like an afterthought. You get so caught up doing side missions and hunts and requests, that even when you do story related stuff, it just seems like more of the same. I like the game, but I can see how people make the argument that it doesn't really feel like final fantasy.
How would ya'll rank it along the FF games you've played. For me, the ranks go like:
1) VI, VII, and Tactics
2) IV and IX
3) XV
4) X and XIII
5) Type Zero
6) VIII
7) XII -
I've put about 50 hours into it now. The open world grew on me and the side activities. The story..... I still have no idea what the ? is going on with it. The one thing about this game I don't think will ever grow on me is the combat, I just don't really cut for it like other games. You can get by by just mashing circle and square the whole time.
All in all I still feel like I need to wait for the DLC to drop and they add the co-op to the game before I give it a final review. -

Edit:forgot to list X. -
DO game usually develop content past this season pass ? ?
Bceause they are releasing co-op, and additional playable characters, but like, there is nothing to use them on.
They need to make the World of Ruin an open world. -
Each dlc of the other 3 chars is new story and supposedly new ? to fight at the carnival releasing later this month.
-
they need to give me insomnia with people in it
