Only a matter of time before doc is relived of his coaching duties. It may be this year or next but it's inevitable
I'm still pullin for the clippers to be good eventually.
What are you sayin man? -
Austin Rivers is gonna finally be the full time starter. I wasn't a fan of his early on but he's been solid these past 2 seasons.

Spurs still 2nd best team in west. fyi

Question; is Cp3 doing a siign and trade or is he gonna just opt in to the final year of his deal? If it's the latter....
Melo,Cp3,LeBron in NY?!? Idk b lmao, it's possible.
Nah rockets will have his bird rights so they can give him 205 mil next summer
Rockets issue was defense so they traded their best back court defender for chris paul who been declining on defense for the last 2 years.Paul should of went to the spurs
Ah damn I ain't even think about the bird rights. ? killed my dream that quick.
I agree 1000% on the Spurs though. I genuinely thought he would go there -

Funny thing is, they have NO young players unless you wanna count Austin rivers5th Letter wrote: »Austin Rivers is gonna finally be the full time starter. I wasn't a fan of his early on but he's been solid these past 2 seasons.
Chris Paul Lost Faith In Doc Rivers Due To How He Favored Austin Rivers Over Team
The relationship between Chris Paul and Doc Rivers began to deteriorate when the Los Angeles Clippers traded for Austin Rivers.
Paul and other members of the Clippers felt Rivers didn't treat his son the same way as he did the rest of the players on the team.
When Doc Rivers decided not to trade for Carmelo Anthony in a trade that would have included Austin Rivers, Paul's position on the matter solidified as he viewed the Rivers as putting family over team.
"Chris despises Doc," said one league executive.
This move also gives Paul the ability to become a free agent during the same offseason as LeBron James in 2018.
The Clippers traded for Austin Rivers in 2015 and re-signed him in the 2016 offseason on a three-year, $35 million deal. -
I wonder how this affects kyle lowry.Raptors in a similar position he's 31
Cuz if toronto don't re-sign him I can see him in minnesota then the west top 4-5 gonna be real interesting next year -

I like Portland's team also. They stole Nurkic from the Nuggets and their backcourt are some serious scorer's. They need more help outside those 3 guys though. Evan Turner I thought would help a little bit with ball handling and helping CJ & Lillard get more open looks working off the ball but that never really materialized.
Defensively they still need help though. Nurkic is a solid rim protector but they need to either figure out a system to maximize their guys strengths on that end or make a move to get some folks. -

I think George hill would be a better fit in Minnesota but yea I can see Lowry being someone they go after -

I agree 1000% on the Spurs though. I genuinely thought he would go thereThis move is a win-win for Chris Paul, and it was all part of a master plan. By opting into the final year of his current contract and pressuring the Clippers to trade him to Houston, Paul will be in the exact same situation next summer. He can re-sign with the Rockets for 5 years and $200+ million or sign a 4-year deal for about $150 million with another team. In addition, he will save several million dollars in state income tax.
Also, by being committed to the Rockets for only one season, it gives him a year to see if he can actually co-exist and pursue a title with James Harden. But even beyond that, this move gives Paul more flexibility to join LeBron James in 2018

They got a 1st round pick, dekker, harrell for paul,2 second round picks last week + johnson and diamond stone. They have way more young players than they had a month ago.Austin Rivers was solid this year he played good defense, shot 38% from 3's and started averaged 16ppg and shot 40% from 3's when paul was out.
I forgot about the pieces they got for Paul honestly because I never looked at what was traded. Nothing significant though yet. Still lil brother status starting next summer -

That ? hit the rookie wall every year. If he go to minnesote he gon ? around and die before the all start break the way thibbs run his starters. -
I don't really see how this move works but it will b interesting, I think harden gon end up being the one off the ball more, it's not like cp3 much of a slasher/cutter n his shooting Improved but I wouldn't say pure, for his play style Spurs weren't a perfect fit either but it'd b better, but we'll see

I said the same thing but hill depends on hayward decision and thibs wants lowry + jimmy and lowry are tight.
Also the spurs are a sleeper for hill -

I don't think they're 1 piece away, but even if they were, them stupid ass ? don't have space to make any kinda moves. They were so hell bent on adding decent players at big contracts last year that they ? themselves over. Shoulda let the Nets throw all that money away on Allen Crabbe. -

Damn, now who's gonna miss all those uncontested 3s ?
They can still sign Danny green
Danny Green is under contract so they would have to trade for him.
Sorry I was thinking of missing open shots more than anything -

This CP3 LeBron talk Is a huge disrespect to Kyrie....Kyrie has outplayed Curry in my opinion and Paul can't do nothing w Curry
