A lot of it is also CP3s fault. I love CP3, one of my favorite players, but dude is a ? and hard to get along with. All the players on the Clippers hated him.
I see this happening on the rockets too. If they have bad results, cp3 gonna make them hate him. -
man if rockets woulda kept patrick him and cp3 at the pg woulda been sick
-
Cp3 too old for sa, understandable, so with that said it only makes sense if murray their starter cuz aging cp3>>>>Lowry or hill, possibly both combined

I agree with this assessment. But the bigger reason why I didn't like the idea of getting Chris Paul is due to the fact that you knew he wanted his money. The only way for him to get his money was for the team to gut itself like what Houston did. the Spurs might be able to get a George Hill for a little under his market value and way under what Paul would demand.
I hope the team can make a move for some front court help and roll with the young back court guys. Maybe even try and get Patty Mills to take a little less to stick around -
Chris Paul about to be mad popular in China

I believe the reports and I personally was consistent on here stating we shouldn't go after Chris Paul.
I just hope for the Rockets sake that he doesn't bounce on you guys after this season because that would suck trading all those players for a 1 year rental -
"Jason Williams out for 6-8 months"
"Jason Williams out for remainder of the season"
This ? hilarious to me -

first part of your statement is false
2016 - Kyrie
2017 - Curry
its 1-1 as far as them matched up in finals -

Yeah I know you were never a fan of bringing him in and Im still a bit skeptical myself but it is what is now, cant do nothing but embrace it and hope for the best
I thought yall taking Derrick White was actually an underrated and great pick and I still like Murray too...would you be fine going with them to start the season until Tony is ready? And what do think is going to happen with LA?

Spurs can't say chris paul was too old but be interested in george hill who is one year younger.I know they're interested in rose too but paul and hill are way better fits.

Funny thing is, they have NO young players lol
Austin Rivers. LMAO.
On the real though, Doc as GM really did a poor job. he seemed afraid to play young players besides his kid
Doc has always been terrible at developing young guys. Outside of Avery and sullinger in recent years he was abysmal with rookies -

I think the team should see if they can get Patty back for a solid deal but if they can't, then they should get a solid veteran point guard who can defend and hit open shots. I honestly hope they roll with Murray to start and get the bulk of minutes at point to see what he has. I feel White along wth Adam Hanga (coming from overseas) are gonna battle it out for Simmons and maybe Manu's vacated bench minutes.
Aldridge is a super tricky situation. The team doesn't really play around with malcontents and I wouldn't be surprised if they ship him out for way under his market value due to him leaking his displeasure to the media.
It's 1 thing for him to be mad that he was killed by the media for underachieving last season but it's a whole other thing for him to blame the team for making him look less than stellar as a player. They tried to force feed the guy the ball and ran a ? ton of pick and pop plays for him all season long. He even had a chance to make him self look better when Kawhi went down against Golden State and he totally gave up. He is killing his trade value complaining to the media and a few front offices are looking at him in a different light due to how he is handling things here. If he is smart he will deny all the rumblings, get in shape and play hard for the Spurs if he isn't traded during the off season because it will help him get moved easier or at the worst case scenario, help him sign for a better deal once this one runs out. -

I agree 100% with you but I will say that the organization might be interested in George Hill due to the fact that he knows the system and he will come way cheaper than Chris.
Honestly I hope we roll with the young guys and see what we have at the most bring in Hill for a cheaper deal or Mills for less. But I honestly don't think either guy is gonna take discounts so I hope the front office rolls with the young guys on the roster and tries to find front court help -
Is Manu retiring or what?
Spurs happy his $14 mil off the books -
Retired

Nobody knows, including him. LOL. He might come back for another year for cheaper though.
His older brother is gonna be coaching the Summer League team at one of the tournaments. -
Chris Paul at Houston is really the same situation he was in before, except this time he might get to a conference final lol. I'm interested to see how Harden and Paul play together.

And roster, and GM.....literally a completely different situation -
I wanted paul to go to the spurs, but if what u guys are saying is true , than
him teaming up with harden isnt a bad 2nd choice especially if there is another big
move that the rockets got in there backpocket that they havent told anybody yet....
and i doubt its melo.......stephen a smith be talking ? .....like someone stated already
in this thread..........melo and dantoni aint get long in ny..........
maybe paul george or paul milsap might be going to houston.........or even serge ibaka

Is lamarcus aldrige still on the trade block ?
-
Why the Rockets are trading for every fringe NBA player known to man
This is an incredibly creative way to make the Chris Paul trade work under NBA rules.

Spurs maxed their cap out on LA. The only way CP could even get there is if anyone bought on LaMarcus's wack-ass contract. No one did. That's why he's in H-Town now. He SHOULD be a Spur, but ? it now.
