Now people wanna give The First Avenger it's props when they compare it to Wonder Woman.

"The First Avenger was boring imo. Too slow."

"The First Avenger is the weakest of the trilogy. It's overrated."

"I hated The First Avenger. Not as good as the other 2."

    I hate yall

Still my personal favorite of those Marvel Studios movies but you're right everybody was always downtalking it and sucking Winter Soldier's ? . Now that DCEU has a well received movie it's all: "but but The First Avenger" lmao

Fanboys are so fickle. This is why I ignoren them and their ? wars.

I downgraded the movie to a 7/10 after processing it which is still good.

    The 3rd act is WEAK
the ? of war is fighter dianna like he was a wizard, I expected more hand to hand but the actor playing ares was older so... the story was weaker also

Not to pressed to see it but if my son wants to check it we'll go. Heard mixed reviews from a few people that's it the best DC movie to date but not as good as the first Cap movie.

Bruh tell him he is an idiot for me. Thats the exact opposite of what people are saying. CAP 1 a ? boring movie, this movie does what Cap should of.

That should be everybody's least favorite Marvel movie. ? was one of the worst superhero flicks ever, right up there with The Spirit.

I don't get the hate for The First Avenger. Some of y'all have ridiculously high expectations for comic book movies when at the end of the day, it's a comic book adaptation

The thing is....... Marvel's worst movies are still better than 95% of DC movies.

Stop confusing DCEU movies with all DC movies or you'll embarass yourself. DC movies been around for 40 years.

They cemented the superhero movie 2 decades in a row (70s and 80s) and set the standard that everybody else including Marvel followed.

Which ones besides SS and BVS....and even then SS still was more enjoyable matter fact both those were better.

Cap 2 and Civil War were ? home runs, i didnt even want to hate Ca0 1 when it dropped but lets face it that was Marvels early steps at the universe known today. Thor 1 wasnt that great either Marvel wasnt crafting what they do a damn good job at today. Its shocking for me because on here is the first time i heard anybody say it was good ? i think Marvel knows it wasnt great either.

Took my moms to see it, loved it. She pointed out dude as the guy who was Remus Lupin (in the GOAT Potter film) and said she knew he had to be the villain. Me, I ain't see that ? coming at all. I had no idea how they were gonna play the Ares angle right until the twist and was sufficiently floored by it. Its not better than Logan or Guardians of the Galaxy 2 imho but its easily the best DC film and personally, I prefer it over Cap 1. WW1 doesn't get enough credit for its awfulness.

They need to pump out 5 sequels ASAP before the White Woman Aging kick in, I wonder who they'll cast as Cheetah

Straight fire. They fooled me on the Ares twist. ? turned into a video game in the final fight. Action was on point, very minimal corny-ness, was funny and had some real heartwarming moments. DC got something with this character/franchise.
