You say it takes millions of years for evolution to happen that's sweet and dandy. But that would mean humans and other animals have been the way they are for millions of years right? No matter how you look at it, there should be some creatures that have been around for millions of years that should be evolving or on the verge of evolving...but we never hear or see any of it because its all make believe. A dog has always been a dog.

The real question is why not? Things evolve to more intelligent beings right? I see no reason why they would just stop all of a sudden unless if they were never evolving in the first place...which happens to be my argument.

Which one are you arguing? Science makes a claim and sets out to disprove or maintain that claim. Many explorers were hesitant to explore cos they believed they'd "fall off" due to a belief on Biblical interpretation of the earth. No book has held man from progress than the Bible.
