    I've always liked 'New Slaves'.. he was surprisingly lyrically efficient on that track plus all the sections in the production



    He also paid homage to Grime; British HipHop music with that song ..

    Finally listened to the album.....better than Yeezus but still not Kanye's best work. He's missing something....

    Ehhh... I give it bout a 7. 7.5... Somewhere in that range. Like everyone said: the production is crazy nice. But there are some moments that I wished lasted a little longer. And I feel like there are moments where the record seems scattered. Also, Kanye (and his writers) have had better bars and content during his career.

    I'm not disappointed though. It's okay. It'll get some tick from time to time. To me, this is still one of his lesser albums though.

    There's a lot of gospel influence on this album. I keep thinking Kanye is reaching out for help through his songs. He seems so lost like this Hollywood, Kardashian life is a farce and he trying to escape. I first heard it on Bound 2. The whole video he looked mad as ? and Kim was with him. The name of the song is ? BOUND, like he's bound to this life but he don't want to be.

    Can only imagine how different he might be now if his mother didn't pass. It was like Tyson losing ? .

    Like Yeezus this album is starting to grow on me each time I listen to it. Production wise it's incredible, which is why i'm disappointed Kanye incorporated his "lyrics" in such a half-assed way.

    There's this great podcast with Damien Lemon called "In the Conversation" and he does a great/hilarious job of breaking down what's wrong with the album and Kanye too. It's the most recent episode.

    But I would recommend people download this version of the album AND the OG version of the album with only one, all day, etc. and just create your own version, if you do so T.L.O.P. becomes damn near a classic.

    Yea think he had too much time to sit with this album so he might hear over thought the sequencing. as much as I want to switch ? around I can't bring my self to do it. I would prefer to listen to the album the way the artist intended it to be received. 30 hours should have been the outro

    I just listened to it for the first time, solid album but I need to listen to it a few more times. Based on first listen I like the following songs.
