Coughlin is considering that jacksonville coaching job??? His old ass better sit down somewhere

They got a ready made defense and some pieces on offense. They have more talent than their 3-12 record would indicate.

I agree but he needs to sit his old ass down somewhere.

That job got Mike Smith written all over it.

    You ain't ?

Keep Mike Smith away from HC positions

Anyway, dropping in to say much respect to Marvin Lewis for shutting down AJ like that

Few coaches would put a player's career before their own

Terry bradshaw talking slick about tomlin huh....? that redneck ?

Truth hurts. He inherited a Super Bowl team that Cowher built and got em a ring. He's a great motivator, but he's not a great coach. His drafts the last few years have been mostly busts.

Do you want to compare cower and Tomlin coaching stats because cower isn't winning that but he's considered great.. perception is a muthafucka

Cowher had Neil O'Dumbell, Mike Tomczak, Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox as his qb's while constantly losing offensive and defensive coordinators to other teams.

I tried to tell him his logic is flawed, you can't just look at a percentage to determine who is a better coach just like you can't just go by qbr to determine who the better player is, if that were the case Joe Montana isnt even top 10 and Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, Kirk Cousins, Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, etc.. are all better than him, he's a casual fan he doesn't know what the ? he's talking about

Cowher inherited a middle of the pack team and built a contender that went to 2 Super Bowls and won 1. He also helped build the team that Tomlin won a ring with. Those were by large in part Cowher's players and coaches. ? LeBeau/most of his coaching staff as well as Bruce Arians all came to Pittsburgh to coach under Cowher and Tomlin won a ring with them.

    If that's the case,
why Coach Cowher ain't win more Super Bowls with the team he supposedly built ??

Why Coach Cowher had a losing season after winning the Super Bowl ??

Why Coach Tomlin accomplish in 2 seasons what took Coach Cowher 15 ??

If Cowher was supposed to be this great coach he would have more to show for it.

Kordeel Stewart was done wrong by the coaching staff. If they didn't make him a slash player he could have been there consistently. You must to forgot about that because you making that an excuse.

Cowher does have a lot to show for it what the ? are you talking about? And he's not saying he's some all time great coach, he's just saying he's better than Tomlin

Steelers fans ain't got no love for Mike Tomlin?

I hope he get fired and replaced with Jeff Fisher

It's mostly the white Steelers fans,
that aren't even from the city of Pittsburgh that don't got love for Coach Tomlin..

They critique Tomlin different than Coach Cowher was critiqued, and it's funny because Coach Tomlin accomplished everything Coach Cowher accomplished but in a shorter amount of time..

O.G. pretty much ? all over this debate, does Tomlin deserve credit sure but he inherited a hof qb in his prime, it's more complicated than just comparing winning %

He only saw the field bcuz he was slash in the beginning. He became a full time QB and couldn't keep his job. How was he done wrong? It's not the coaching staff's fault bcuz they got head coaching positions and moved on. Stewart had his chance but he could not read defenses. That's a well known fact. Say what you want about Cowher but he made the most out of a one dimensional team. They just happen to run into such dynasties as the Bills, Cowboys, Broncos and Patriots. I do blame him for the loss to the Chargers in the AFCC in '94 but whatever. Tomlin lost to Tim Tebow. Nuff said.

I'd give OV the week off too....might as well give the offense the week off too...they been trash for 15 weeks, I don't think they need the reps in the last game to catch a rhythm lol.. just sit them ? and be 100%(minus Vereen) going into the playoffs.

Why Coach Cowher had a losing season after winning the Super Bowl ??
Didn't Ben wreck his motorcycle in the off season and was hobbled all year starting in week one vs the Chargers?
Didn't Tomlin miss the playoffs and only finish 3rd in the division after winning the SB? Winning record but still 3rd in the division.
[Why Coach Tomlin accomplish in 2 seasons what took Coach Cowher 15 ??
Big Ben, Troy, Harrison, Ward, Holmes, Hampton, Taylor, and Keisel. All Cowher players.

You just trying to get Fisher employed so he don't come to Jax and introduce yall to that 7-9 life.

wouldn't that be an upgrade for Jacksonville?

So how many Cowher players are still on the team? And why are they still having success today? You want to say because of Ben? Fine, but how many teams have good QB's but still suck?

One playoff win since the last super bowl appearance in 2010. Steeler nation is spoiled and that is mediocre imo. While watching our biggest rivals the Crows and Pats have success during that time. I watch John Harbaugh take lesser teams than Pitt and put up a very good challenge to NE while the Steelers get out-coached and out-played by both teams constantly. Facts
