Nas and Lauryn Hill are going on tour.
(AllHipHop) Nas and Lauryn Hill will hit the road together for the “Life is Good/Black Rage” tour, which will kick off this October.
The 18-date tour will kickoff October 6 in Columbia, Maryland and will wind down December 31 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The tour takes its name from Nas’ latest #1 album Life is Good, as well as Lauryn Hill’s upcoming single “Black Rage,” which is due out this Fall.
“I use the performance platform as an opportunity to express the energy of that moment, and the intention behind it,” Lauryn Hill said in a press release. “I’ve been a long-standing rebel against the stale, over commoditization. As artists we have opportunity to help the public evolve, raise consciousness and awareness, teach, heal, enlighten and inspire in ways the democratic process may not be able to touch. So we keep it moving.”
This is the first time Nas and Lauryn Hill have toured together as a package, since the release of their hit collaborative single “If I Ruled the World,” from Nas’ 1996 album It Was Written.
“This is history,” Nas said. “Better late than never. Life is good!”

Fav verse off of it
Grew up in public housing so I seen some dumb ish, obviously not as successful as these rappers but I was in Spain on vacay last year and this verse came to mind
Watch the calm realist channel his mom’s spirit
Goosebumps cover me, mother’s here, I could feel her
Blood of Christ covers me, our savior and healer
Drug prices up or down, I know a few dealers
And some accident murderers, they act like they killed on purpose
Liars brag they put work in
You ain’t mean to murk him, your gun’s a ?
Better stay on point, if not it’s curtains
Bebo Posse reincarnated through me probably
If music money didn’t stop me
I never claimed to be the toughest
Though I’m to blame for a few faces reconstructed, it’s the game that we was stuck with
Now I’m the only black in the club with rich Yuppie kids
Sad thing, this is the top, but where the hustlers went
No familiar faces around, ain’t gotta grab the musket
It’s all safe and sound, champagne by the bucket
Where them ? I shouted out on my first ?
Bo cooking blow, ? is Slate at? Where Turkey went?
Old videos show ? that was murdered since
Another reason to get further bent
Put your glass high if you made it out the stash spot
And here to tell your story and celebrate the glory
Drinks in the air for my ? not here This for the fallen soldiers, hold it down, I told you
Pop another bottle and keep the smoke rolling -

Dope album. Best Nas album in years

I hope "It's Secured" is the complete opposite direction Nas is going for on his forthcoming album.
I never wanna hear a Nas x Travis Scott collab ever again. -
