Video is still Dope all these years later. I love the ending as Biggie rides the boat into the sunset.

    (Funny video, lol)

Spike Jones did an amazing job for the "Sky's The Limit" Video.

I still can't believe this went Diamond and only 3 singles were released, think about that.

^^^ Please Hammer Don't Hurt Em went diamond with the only huge single being "U Can't Touch This". And that album actually sold ten million copies, unlike Life After Death which is a double album where each copy qualifies as two albums sold. Please, don't misunderstand this as me saying MC Hammer is better than BIG (some idiots are quick to do that), just pointing out the sales factor.

Well the fact is the album was packaged with 2 Disc:

    Disc 1 - 5 Million
    Disc 2 - 5 Million

    = 10 Million Discs Sold

Also "LAD" cost well over 20 dollars when it was released so the revenue generated from the LP was one of the highest for a rap album in history. Oh and for the record, Hammer released 4 singles from that LP and guest what, "Can't Touch This" didn't even chart higher than "Pray" or "Have You Seen Her" which both were Top 5 singles. It's just "Can't Touch This" got all the press so people assume it was the biggest hit from the album when it really wasn't. Big going Diamond off "Life After Death" was a little harder cause the content on the album was not as friendly as an album like "Hammer Please don't hurt em".

Kids and adults could buy the Hammer album. Biggie's LP was not for Kids, it was R-rated music which is why the Guinness book of world records recognizes it as the 1st "HARD CORE" rap album to sell as much as it did. Don't get me wrong, I think Hammer's album was easily probably the most popular rap album of all time as far as Impact and Sales. But nobody, I mean nobody thought a Biggie album could reach Diamond status and it did.

Damn.. a Bed-Stuy ? who raps about money, hoes and clothes, a dancing ass ? from Oakland, two dope boys in a Cadillac from Atlanta and a white boy with skills from Detroit made it before the almighty Tupac did.

Well Tupac disciples..what do you have to say?

rapmastermind ain't say ? . The music speaks for itself. When you say the word classic it doesn't matter what your name is, you have to deliver an unskippable album. My ears tell me that it isn't classic. The Eminem and MC Hammer albums aren't either. So what?? Is Illmatic diamond?? Does that make LAD better?? No.

Let's go strictly off the music and forget who he is and the impact. It's a really good album but not classic.

LMAO @ hatin on Life After Death. sucks to be YOU.

that ? is still as fresh as the day it dropped i know because i still got both discs in the CD changer in my car ? ain't been taken out in almost a year i'm still waiting for this album to get old and i bought it the day it was released.

and Please Hammer Don't Hurt Em and To The Extreme were both hot when they were dropped ? you if you speakin on it but weren't around in that day and age ? do you know about MC Hammer? that's a failed argument Life After Death sales numbers prove this album had major impact on release and is a classic so get mad about it ? and write another anti-BIG titangraph ? is hilarious.

? ? me with the ? they be talking. i guess pac sales didnt increase when he died either. yea he went 5x platnimum in 2 months but pac is still stuck at 9 times platinum. this album is not diamond yet cut it out son. pac had 5 singles on aeom compared to big 3 singles on life after death. so ? in hear comparing the albums is just senseless. facts is facts. aeom was a great album, but big life after death wins by a margin....

Life after death gets never old... And i can tell u this im from Europe.
And ? be bumpin Biggie's music everyday, In the club, on the bus and in the car.

My favorite Biggie song is Kick in The Door..!!!!
That song is a lyrical molestation and the beat is so ? raww my ? i bump that song at least once a week!!!!
I hate Another ? and Nasty boy, those were unnecessary songs.
But Songs like Whats Beef, ? Bleed, Your nobody till somedy kills you, Notorious Thugs, Long kiss Goodnight and Ten ? Commandments are Classic joints.

I even like the Im ? u Tonight , play that ? if your in company with a woman.. it sets the mood right instantly.
