Matt Barnes will be a decent pick up and a steal at 1.7 mil

Looks like the Barnes deal is official. Bench is starting to look good. The key is Ebanks and Caracter progressing fast and been able to contribute come playoff time. Do get me started on Walton, there is already word out there that his back might still be an issue next season.

LOL!!!!!! Barnes will be a solid pick up I wish he was a better 3 pt shooter but he is good enough and brings a lot on the defensive end

Toheeb, whats up with our rookies I didnt get a chance to see them much how did they look in the triangle?

Rookies showed a lot of potential. During summer league, they ran the Triangle alot.

Ebanks: Dude is a Trevor Ariza Clone. He is already a better shooter than Ariza when he came to the league. The sky is the limit with him, he has the build, he just needs to add more range to his shot. Already a good defensive player. He really played GREAT within the Triangle offense. His flaws showed when they were not running the triangle.

Caracter: Dude is freaking talented. His body and playing style closely resembles that of Glen Davis. Dude has a wide array of post moves and he knocked down a few 20 footers . His footwork is another thing that stands out, adding to his agility. He was a highly touted player when he came out of high school, but dude has serious off the court issue. Started out at Indiana, transferred to Louisville, kicked out of Louisville, then finished out college at UTEP. If he can show he is matured, he will definitely make the team. He is the main reason why Mitch decided not to bring Josh Powell back.

Thats good to hear from what you are saying it looks like they are both locks to make the team.

    Bynum/l/Mbenga
    Gasol/Odom/Powell
    Artest/Walton/Morrison
    Bryant/Vujacic/Brown
    Fisher/Farmar

    Bynum/Ratliff
    Gasol/Odom/Caracter
    Artest/Barnes/Walton/Ebanks
    Bryant/Brown/Vujacic
    Fisher/Blake

Im pretty confident Brown is coming back but as you can see the bench has improved think were still missing that 'spark' off the bench who can light it up every now n then but as it stands right now we have improved on our roster from last year

I alway liked barnes.. hes a gritty tough player.. with a mean streak and can D.. you know hes gonna get into a lot of ? heads.. Between Artest.. Kobe.. Barnes and Sasha. you have the two that discourage and smother you and the two.. who will annoy you get into your psyche. .and knock 3's down when you need them too.. Imm lookin for Sasha to have a good season .. he finished this year off on an upswing.

I guess he has some defensive present when playing so that helps the Lakers but I cant really be mad at dude, he's not holding back the team and the Lakers have made the Finals the last three seasons, plus he got 2 rings..lol. MBENGA"My stats may be ? but I got two championship rings HAHAHAHAHAHA" @Dudes playin 14, 15, 16 seasons and not winning 1.

Damn, John Hollinger stays hating on the Lakers. He just wrote his "Biggest Offseason Loser" column, and the Mfer put the freaking Lakers as one of his losers. What a ? .

so having basically the same roster but losing farmar (TO machine) and adding blake (a vet PG) and barnes (3pt shooter and some defense) is losing SMH

I dont have Insider either, but he was on John Ireland's show on ESPN LA yesterday, and they demanded the dude to defend himself. All he did was stammer and declare how much he thinks Miami rocks.
