This a funny ass thread. In my fam, the women have always made the plates for their man no matter what the event is. Some people never see it growing up so they don't understand. Some people just take it more seriously than others.

Lol! Dude calls all the females "hoes" and they still come in and explain how and what kind of dishes they prepare for their man.
    Hilarious. Random. I know.

    ohh emm gee.lol

by point is... it's not mandatory
i'm sure it would be nice to take out food for him all the time...
    but ? is not mandatory.
it's not mandatory? ur not getting it are you??

look at it like school... do you want to do just mandatory and get a C on your relationship..

or do you want to work hard, go above and beyond, and work for that A?

because if you're only doing what's mandatory ur only going to get that back.. and what's the point of a C relationship??

    This^^^

Like say, I know my man doesnt like any kind of bean near his mashed potatoes. And he like his corn over his rice. THose are things I know about him because we bond and these are things he's told me in our conversations.

I dont want another woman to get to know my man on that kind of level. THose arent thing you just run into a party with food and announce. Those are things I know about him because we are a couple.
lmao...this just brought tears to my eyes...

i already know my lady gonna make bomb plate.. i'm playing cards and i hear her in the background like
"no..he doesnt' eat macaroni and cheese...give me the mashed potatoes.....no mom...no gravy...okay u know what.. just step back..i got this"

    i just smile...

Damn that was actually a really good analogy and I'm pretty hard to impress. This thread is really showing the differences in generations and while I don't wanna bash anyone/generation for their way of thinking all I can say is thank ? I'm not apart of it.

it's a good topic for discussion on here, t/s just ? up things with the thread title. women would've platted this one up anyway, regardless of the title. you know how some threads separate the men from the boys? this here's one of those, for the ladies...

You didn't lie about that. Still went plat.
If I was a gambling man I'm willing to be at least 3 of these females will post their dishes they made:
