i never owned a smash brothers so this might be interesting. graphically it looks better too. I like how they mash up worlds of different characters together. If theyre smart theyll make a few console packs including this game.

Looks wack. Doesn't even really look good enough to be called a Smash Bros clone. Looks more like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up

Not only was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up a decent game, it was actually developed by the same team who co-developed Super Smash Bros Brawl, Game Arts.....so your analogy flopped.

Anyway, this new Sony joint does look like a pretty blatant Smash Bros. clone....but it looks like it's gonna be fun still.
I might have to cop a PS3 on the cheap to play this.

    LMAO!

    TMNT Smash Up Metacritic: 6.7
    Sales: 330,000

LOL! So, a critical and commercialism failure. I guess TMNT: Smash Up is "decent" in the way this Playstation clone will be "decent". LOL!

Brawl was developed by Hal and SORA, like every Smash game. A few third string, free lance developers to bug test some ? who came from Game Arts does not make them a "co-developer". You reaching. LOL! If Game Arts made Brawl...why they couldn't make ANOTHER Brawl then, instead of a flop turtles game? LOL!

Google and Wikipedia is your friend.
It's common knowledge at this point that Game Arts co-developed Brawl.

"...Sakurai retained complete control over the game, apparently even more than he had in the previous two HAL Laboratory-developed entries. It is not entirely clear of Game Arts was involved at the corporate level, or if many of its employees were simply hired for the duration of Brawl"

LMAO! That's what yo link says bruh. Try again. LOL! I dont have to Google, I can just look at the game box. LOL.

"In a surprising bit of information in an extensive interview between Nintendo president Satoru Iwata and Super Smash Bros. series creator and designer Masahiro Sakurai, it was revealed that Tokyo-based Game Arts, developer of the Lunar and Grandia RPG series, handled a bulk of the development of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)."

    It also says that...

I never said Nintendo had no say in the game, I said Game Arts co-developed the game. And i'm right. We all know Sakurai designed the game but he didn't program that ? by himself, now you just acting like a Stantendo. This coming from the biggest Stantendo there is.

You probably cried when you found out Dimps developed Street Fighter IV and that 8ing developed Marvel VS Capcom 3 too.

    FOH, ? looks dope.

Super Smash Bros is a classic no doubt but you can't complain about this game "copying" SSB. Every game has copied another or was heavily influence and that doesn't stop them from being good games. Anyone going to complain karate games were influenced to Street Fighter? And that SFII was copied?

The point is all games will influence something in another, this game doesn't look wack to me. I want to see a list of character plus a demo before I get this.

LOL! Which is not a direct quote from Sakurai.

And at the end of the day, none of this changes that:

    A. TMNT Smash Up sucked and flopped.
    B. SEGA Sony All Star Battle Royale or whatever looks wack, and will most likely flop being a PS3 exclusive and a rip off.
    C. Smash Bros is the original and has always been a commercial and critical success and will continue to do so.

    LOL!

It was an interview with both Sakurai and Mr. Iwata in which it was stated...I'm not the one who ain't reading....But whatever.

You got your mouth so firmly implanted on Nintendo's sac it's kinda unbelievable, really.

You hum on them ? too?

LOL! I realize it was an interview bruh. But what you've yet to provide is the direct quote from Sakurai or anyone at Nintendo that credits Game Arts as a "co-developer" or co-signs the "Game Arts handled a bulk of the development of Super Smash Bros. Brawl" claim.

That is just how that site wrote it. Its print bro. Magazines do it all the time to get more people to read. Why is this information ONLY on this one shacknews site? LOL. Don't that tell you something? Again, I don't doubt they assisted with game testing or some lite programming...Brawl is a big game. But that's the extent bruh, come on.

...and why are you so mad? LOL!

and the actual interview between Mr. Iwata and Sakurai in which this was revealed directly from the Nintendo website:
