Obviously Pierce aint on the same level as Kobe, Lebron, nd Wade career wise but on the low Pierce has had a great career. One of da greatest small forwards of da last decade nd top 10 SF of all time Pierce has had huge games against some other great competition. 2008 finals MVP. Before KG & ray Allen came Pierce was a versatile scoring machine but just couldnt get his team far in da playoffs outside of the 02 ECF run so a lot of people disregard some of the numbers nd performances he put on.
Celtics Records: Most points scored in a half, 46 (December 1, 01 vs Nets)
Most 3 point FG's made 1,578 which is top 10 all-time
Most free throws made 5,808
Highest scoring avg thru 1 month (33.5 ppg February 06)
Only Player in Celtics history to lead NBA in total points scored in a season (2,144 in 01-02)
Most points scored in a half in playoffs (32 vs Pacers game 4 in 03)
22.0 ppg for his career is 2nd behind Larry Bird
2nd in Franchise history nd 25th all-time wit 22,591 career points
So where do we rank Pierce as far as wings of dis era, nd all-time. IMO he's slightly underrated he scored easily on players even wit his lack of athleticism in a fast paced league now

he's obviously one of the best, most consistant players from the 2000's.
that statement should do enough justice for his career.
i don't know about rankings, they dumb.

vs Lebron:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zf9Z60uBlHY
they dont have da one where he scored 50 on him in 06 tho these 2 had some great battles -
-
A sure hall of famer. He's been there for the cS and hes been a clutch player his whole career any real hoops fan has to give him props.

yea i think when its all said nd done he'll be an under da radar star kinda like Mitch Richmond in da 90's -
Top 10 SF
Top 5 Celtic
Top 25 overall
Consistent throughout his whole career. Ill jumper, he's clutch, his defense isn't wack, and he led his team to a ring. Also in his prime he was crazy nice. -
another classic moment im dyin at Chalmers face afer Pierce hit da buzzer beater

not quite that low. mitch played on bad teams in a small market. in an era completely dominated by 1 player. Even tho its all been about lebron and kobe, so many other players are getting endorsements, being hyped in the media, and getting their name out there. Pierce is a much more known commodity. So don't think its as much about him flying under anyone's radar, its more about him just not being quite as good as the greats of the last ten or so years. -

co-sign all dis i just hate how his prime was wasted on Danny Ainge tryin a youth movement u got a guy averaging 27, 7 boards nd 5 assist per game nd he got da brian Scalebrine's of da world gettin rotation minutes aint much u can do bout it -
Great player, rankings.. who knows really doesnt matter.. hes a HOF besides after the top 10 naming 11, 18, and 25... is tedious.. ..

think he's better than Cousy, Havlicek, mchale, parish, etc...?
i don't even know if the biggest celtics fans would put pierce in the top 3. all time -

I really think people just arbitrarily put players at a number ... ehh hes 48 greatest player.. lol i mean what does that even mean what would he have to be to be 30th or 47.. its pointless -

i got Pierce in my top 5 wit Bird Havlicheck nd Mchale ahead of him nd a lot of celtics fans wont have him at number 3 cuz he only has 1 ring but supporting cast should be factored into da celtics rankings -

well i see that side of it, when you are grouping all players.
but when you are only dealing with a handful of players, such as the alll time great celtics, it then becomes a little easier to group them into tiers, or even assign them rankings.
but yes. there isn't much difference between a 3rd, 4th, 5th best player when you are talking about all time greats. -

aye @EmmHolla if yall wanna make it to top 4 in da East make sure yall defense is betta then the atrocity displayed in these videos. Pierce is a knick killer even at age 34 lol -

rite before he sprained his MCL i wish he was more healthy dis past playoffs but he looked bad nd it showed on defensive rotations nd FG percentage -
-
him and wade is pretty close legacy wise, Wade is washed after only 9 years...Pierce and Wade are even right now despite a 5 year difference
-
Being a top 5 Celtic is a huge deal, but the Celtics are all about champships so in my book he's a underachieving small forward
-
Lol you guys are over rating the ? out of him. Great player yes but that's about it.
