I ? with that. The pass-rusher depth will be night&day from last year if/when we draft another one and/or sign another.
Osi can get 8+ sacks as a rotational if he's not the only decent pass rusher in the front 7 like he was last year. -
Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann, who played just two games last year before suffering a torn Achilles tendon, is also expected back without a move to reduce his cap number of $5.08 million.
Nah they gotta do something about that -
Yeah, that's ridiculous. Kroy better get at LEAST two sacks for each million he makes this year. Or else he should be the first cap casualty of 2015.
-
Bradie Ewing cut.
Damn. Knee Collector keep ethering our fullbacks. -
The Falcons will be receiving three compensatory picks for the 2014 NFL Draft as the added selections were handed out at the annual NFL Owners Meetings on Monday.
The extra picks are a fourth-round selection (No. 139 overall) and two seventh-round selections (Nos. 253 and 255 overall).
The Falcons hold 10 selections in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Good ? -
A 4th round compensatory is dope as ? . Especially in a deep draft.
-
We probably take a RB with that extra 4th.... Should still be some good ones on the board.
-
-
As long as we don't give up a lot to move up Im cool with it. I dont want to give up a 2nd or 3rd round pick to move up.
-
I'm cool with giving up our 3rd or 4th this year, and/or as high as a 2nd next year.
We got 2 4th rounders and there will be done good sleepers in this years draft.
We gotta find a way to get Mack or Clowney.
I know we need a OT, but I do not want to spend our 1st pick on one.
-
I think Mack will still be there at 6. Doubt him and Clowny are gone in the first 5. Rather have Clowney.

Iono his stock shot up after his pro day. Jacksonville's the wild card to me if he makes it past them he should be there at 6.
I don't think TD's willing to take that chance tho
-
Only concern I have with Mack is he played at Buffalo. Even with his stock going up im surprised no one has brought up the level of competition he played against.
-
I might be wrong (just saying that to cover by ass) but Mack is from the South Florida area where all those other sec players come from. I think he's good stock. Turner Gill being at buffalo is probably what got him there. Also, playing where he's the only threat, he still balled out. He might be even better as a pro. I would take him if Clowney doesn't fall to us at six.
-
Not to mention that our last two D-linemen we took in the first round (The Fake Jammal Anderson & Peria Jerry)
were both from the SEC and both busts.
And arguably the best pass rusher in the league right now (Demarcus Ware) and the best pass rusher we have on our team right now, both went to "Troy."
Proud members of the mighty...

He had a good game against Ohio st
You put him with Mass and Osi this defense could take that next step with Soliai and Peters eating up blockers -
Carlin the white goat.
Louie CK on his heels for the white goat crown tho. -

I started to mention Demarcus Ware. Him and Osi both went to Troy. No comment on Jamal Anderson. Still trying to forget that dude ever played here. -
And Jammal was a good kid. He just had a low motor on pass rushing. He was actually a decent run-stuffing D-end.
I think he's just a victim of combine hype gone wrong. Another reason Blank went out and hired Dimitroff. -
Falcons related rumor of the dayJim Wyatt @jwyattsports 26m
A lot of running backs starting to find landing places. My bet on where #Titans RB Chris Johnson eventually ends up: #Falcons -
I'm cool with that if it's for a good price and we keep S.Jax. I still think we have yet to see the best from Jax. He never got the chance to get acclimated last year. But he looked good when he got in rhythm.
We need a speed back bad tho. -
I would be happy with that. Queezy is gone if this happens.
