If it's a trade with Houston it's Clowney but if we trade with the Rams it's probably for Mack. Clowney on the other side of Watt would be too much to pass up for the Texans if they don't trade.
That win against Washington might've been a bad thing in the long run lol -
Draft day rumorThere’s a real possibility that Eric Berry is traded on draft day, with the Falcons being most likely. the price tag is something around a second-round pick.

Dog, Don't play with...

Pick makes perfect sense. Just not what I wanted.
Can't really go wrong with a Matthews boy tho. -
Pass rush is still poo. And once again, we have to hope that we find a diamond in the rough in the later rounds or hope some vet free agent decides to get off his ass and play for us. *sigh*
Doesn't matter if we can score 4 touchdowns a game if we're giving up 5.
We'll see. We need about 3 *good* front-7 players. ASAP. -
-
We can still put up 20+ points with our offense as is. We proved that. Despite injuries.
Defense travels. If we're trying to "out score" everybody we'll be 8-8 at best with no pass rush. The receivers in our division are only getting better, and the QB's too (other than Brees who's getting old but still good). Only way to stop them is to put them on their ass.
Two ways to get your QB ? up:
1. Have a ? O-line.
2. Have a ? defense that gives up so many points that it forces your QB to throw 40+ times a game and the other team's pass rushers can tee off.
^^^ Drafting Matthews might deal with "#1" but #2 can still get Ryan put on his back 4 times a game. No O-line can hold up forever if they have to pass every down. -
^^^ Which gives me an idea.
I'm cool with us taking one or two of the best RB's available this weekend.
We need to go back to that pre-Julio possession/running offense. Go deep when necessary to keep defenses honest, but establish the run first.
If we can slow the pace of the game down, that will make up for a wet-paper-towel pass rush and young DB's. -
I agree with Greenwood that it makes perfect sense but it's not the pick I wanted.
TD tried to trade up but Houston was asking for too much and Buffalo snatched the Browns pick so he was basically stuck at 6. I expect the next pick to be a pass rusherUnless Marquise Lee is at 37. Don't act like TD wouldn't do that ? lol -
I think we already have a potential breakout player on the front 7
-
Yeah, he has the tools. And Osi coaching him up too.
We'll see if he puts it all together.
I heard the same ? about Sidbury. I'm still waiting on him to "break out" and he ain't even a falcon now.
-
I kinda forgot about our two Front 7 signings.
You right, we're better on paper in the front 7 plus we're healthier. We're still about 2 players away on defense. -
I'm happy with the pick. I was hoping Dee Ford would make it to the second round but that was shut down fast. I hope TD doesn't just draft a DE to get one. I'd rather they get the best available player who also fills a need.

Probably won't happen either this ? stayed hurt since we picked him up and he probably will be cut after this season if he doesn't show us anything -

Niiiiiice.
I ? with this big dude. That D-line depth lookin' right.
LB's still baby ? tho. -
Watching his highlights he reminds me of a more athletic Cory Peters.
Definitely got a mean streak.
I know Nolan almost busted a nut when he saw the film of him dropping back in coverage and gettin' a pick. nh lol -
I have to say, that pick (the dt from Minn) surprised me. They're trying to stack that position. That safety from Wisconsin sounds like he could be alright. I'm expecting a rb and maybe a kicker today.
-
Yeah, I knew that DT was nice. Good to see we have plenty of depth on the interior D-line.
If our interior D-line is beasting, that opens up so much for the LB's and DE's.
Peters
Babs
Jerry
Ra'shede
Soliai
We could realistically rotate those nikkas every down. I think Babs and Soliai will be every down dudes, Peters & Ra'shede on passing downs, Jerry primarily on run downs.
Not to mention that Tyson Jackson will be a glorified DT in our 3-4 schemes too.
Niiiiiiice. -

Solid, steady draft. I ? with it.
Freeman is a solid "hit the hole" back that we need. Quizz's ? footin' and stutter stepping 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage is gettin' on my damn nerves. If your name ain't Barry Sanders or Jamal Anderson in his prime -- you can't do that ? .
He gon learn a lot from SJax too. -
Between Hageman and Shembo looks like the filter might be going away
