They offered him a tender earlier he just officially signed it today. -
Got it.
Happy for'em. Decent lil bump in pay despite having a down year. He tightened up a bit toward the end last year.
I think he felt some type'a way about all the PT the two rookies were getting over him. -
Texans just cut Manning.....Would be good to bring in a vet safety to go along with a rookie we can bring along slowly
-
I'd be cool with it only thing is he has a problem staying healthy.
I'd try and bring Rafael Bush back if I was TD -
Looks like it's starting to get clearer on who TD looking at -
The clowney and Mack workouts will say alot.
If we trade up -- it's definitely for Clowney and it means he impressed at the workout. If we stand pat at 6, then... Mack is A-town bound. -

Great minds -
So we bringing Bush back huh.... I read that the Aints dont have the cap space to match the offer.
-
They could if they really wanted to but I doubt they would spend 2-3 mill on a backup S with Byrd and Vaccaro
-
That's a decent move. I hope it ain't for damn 3 million tho.
Getting kinda concerned about that FS position tho. Glad Decoud is gone, but we can do worse if we don't get a solid veteran.
Definitely don't want a rookie and 2 2nd year corners starting in our secondary.
WillyMo ain't ready to babysit. -
Aint's signed Champ so Bush prob coming back to the A.... That's cool... Still need to draft a safety. And id still like to see a vet LB come in too, a true MLB.
-
Ramon Antonio Vargas @RVargasAdvocate 1m
Source tells me #saints S Rafael Bush would prefer it if 2-year, $4.5 million offer sheet from Falcons wasn't matched
Not bad numbers -
Smh @ our LB's. If we're really going 3-4 we need to sign about 2 more LB's and draft at least 2.
That LB depth cart look softer than green baby ? . -
If they're really switching to a base 3-4 then Mass, Kroy, Osi and whoever they draft will probably go to OLB and Bartu and Spoon will go to ILB with Worrilow and Dent.
If Bush comes then the secondary should be straight but they'll still probably draft a S in the middle rounds.
The OL is really my only remaining major concern. Holmes is not a RT and Baker's knees are gone. -
I get that we "need" a OT, but I ain't ready to gamble with a rookie with such a high pick to protect my QB.
If Mack and Clowney are gone -- cool. I guess. But drafting linemen early is like drafting a QB early. It usually means you're rebuilding and you're cool with that player not playing at a high level for a couple years.
I ain't cool with that. But I don't have any reason not to trust Dimitroff in a war room. I've lawst every time I've second guessed him. -
^even mentioning Clowney as a realistic option is just getting your hopes up to be disappointed. I think Matthews would be able to step in right away and start effectively. Damn near every male is his family played in the league. I'd say he's the surest pick in the draft.
As long as they don't trade up, I'm happy. I think Mack, Matthews, Robinson are all good picks. I'd really be happy if they traded down for a first and high 2nd round pick to get that Michigan OT and maybe Dee Ford. -
A OT with that first pick is No bueno for me. We need O-linemen, but our biggest need has been front-7 defense for a good 3 years.
-
Welp..... No Bush in Atlanta, the Aints matched the offer. Gotta find a safety in the draft. They gotta find a vet to come here tho.
-
So we signed Josh Wilson. If that name sounds familiar it's because of

lol. Blank is so serious about us gettin' tougher. Nikka dissed how the team reacted to a hit on Matty, now he want the black on blacks back.
He gon hand out free tickets in the Bluff and Bowen Homes next. -
Thats what happens when the Falcons start talking Falcons filter and want church boys on the team.

Word.
That's the only part of the Blank era that I never liked.
Like my uncle said -- "Would Deion make it thru this Falcon filter?"
But this all also reflects what i like most about Blank -- he ain't pig-headed about ? .
If he's doing something that ain't working - he's willing to change.
He realized back in the day that him trying to be "Jerry jones" being the owner and GM wasn't working so he started bringing people in the front office. He loved Vick, but he didn't sit waiting for him to get out the klink, etc, etc.
Smith Family was the opposite. They stuck to the same dumb, cheapskate ? err year no matter what.
