SPOILER ALERT FOR UPCOMING SEASONYou know they gonna do the same thing with Oberyn this season as well. I mean I can understand renly and loras aren't POV characters so the only insight to their relationship you get is other pov characters hearing comments about renly not bedding women or loras being sad since renly died.
The show is of course going to add a whole lot more to their storylines and since they are ? they get queened out all the way. -

Haven't you read the books? Hodor is the reincarnation of Aegon the Conqueror. He's rolling with Bran in order to resurrect his dragons so he can take over Westeros again. -
dany has 3 dragons and about 10k unsullied
a random kingdom of westeros can field up to like 20k people. The White Walkers are a threat to all the 7 kingdoms so you can imagine how big their horde is.
Dany would be a joke to them
I like dany but then I keep remembering she's an ? baby like joffrey and she might have the same madness problem that her brother had. -

You're kinda over looking the fact that Westeros isn't united and that there are still plenty of Targaryen sympathizers left. Dany doesn't expect to have to conquer the whole continent outright. She expects to make her presence known and have many of the banners come over to her side from the get go. -

I ? with Dany but she be on some power trip ? . The only thing she got to her advantage is the dragons (which is big) and at the end of the day...Westeros dont love the Lannisters like that lol

for the book readers: how is the dialogue/writing? One of the first things that got me into the show was how the characters interacted with each other. Is it as good in the books or does the show do it better?
Dialogue and writing is pretty easy follow. The chapters are POV so you get what the character is thinking a lot. Since you have seen 3 seasons of the show keeping up with the characters won't be too hard. -

Ned: There is no other choice.
Knowingly causing the death of thousands isn't noble. Never telling your bastard who his mom is isn't noble. As for Robb marrying some strange after asking someone to take sides against Tywin isn't noble. Making your uncle fufill your broken promise isn't noble. -
I swear the way some of you try and defend the ? up ? that gets done to the starks is hilarious. By having Ned killed Joffrey started a war with the North in addition to having to fight stannis so yeah in the end even more lives were damned.
Robb slighted the walder frey and roose bolton took advantage of the starks falling. over 1000 northmen killed and for what? crossing a bridge and a broken promise......
