    don't understand why Nintendo doesn't do things like this for the 3ds.....the e-shop and club nintendo rewards for the 3ds are straight garbage

    D]amnit, only europe gets 10 games to choose from, north america gets 4....I have an American WiiU, account registered USA, ? isnt region free, so you cant change your account to a European one...here is the story:

    both Europe and North America you have until 31st July to register your copy of Mario Kart 8 on Club Nintendo, including codes with standard and limited editions, as well as console bundles and copies bought directly from the eShop; in return you'll receive a free download code for a retail title. In Europe you'll have a choice of 10 games, while in North America the list includes four titles; below are the choices that Mario Kart 8 early adopters will have.

    Europe
    ◾Nintendo Land
    ◾New Super Mario Bros. U
    ◾Game & Wario
    ◾Pikmin 3
    ◾The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
    ◾Sonic Lost World

    Combined with upcoming Mario Kart 8 hardware bundles, the offer of a free game could certainly tempt new adopters; for existing Wii U owners, meanwhile, this seems like a good chance to boost that game collection.

    the eshop is ? , there are only 12 demos available for the wii u and there are no trail versions of the indie games. Psn/xbl are so far a head its ridiculous.

    I dont even know why its like this, its like they dont want to make money lol.

    So weird. The best part of owning a 3DS for me has been the eShop. I never had trouble finding a game I liked on there and it's helped provide me with many hours of entertainment.

    The blue shell has finally been nerfed

    Mario Kart 8’s May 30 release date is just a few weeks away, and as we near the finish line for this upcoming racer, Nintendo has been kind enough to drop a few new details about what’s coming to this long-running series. What excites me the most is the Super Horn, a new item that can destroy incoming items--including the dreaded blue shells--by emitting a powerful shock wave around your vehicle. This is a rare, single-use item and is one of two new items announced for the game. The other is an upgraded version of Lucky 7, aptly named Crazy 8, which adds a coin to the item rotation. Nintendo also announced two new characters for Mario Kart 8: Baby Rosalina--you knew that was coming--and Pink Gold Peach, the Princess Peach equivalent to Metal Mario.

    Its been getting good reviews damn near everywhere but alot of people are saying it's too easy.

    Triple Deluxe? I thought that was dropping later in the month. Gonna have to look into it. Kirby games are generally easy but also a lot of fun.
