You could quit a job and have another one the next week, your money went farther and gas wasn't $4 a-damn-gallon.

The 90's were the ? . If you didn't live through at least half of the 90's, you lost.

We were just talking about how you could get 4 small bags of chips for $1. All of those little snacks were cheap as hell. Cans of pop in the machine were a quarter and they're charging $1.50 now for 20 ounce bottles now smh.

The big value meal at fast food restaurants used to be, like, $3.99 lol.

lol every decade is different... every decade you was born in and the one right after will be the "best decades" to alot of people think about it it's the 2 decades you grew up in... who gonna be 7 years old and be like " man this music/movies/ tv shows are wack now days.. they need 2 bring back that ? from when my parents was my age.." it ain't gonna happen... it's just when you get past a certain age you realize the ? you liked when you were younger is either outdated/not popular or you have out grown.. that's life.. just accept it..

The penny candy people complained about those same 25 cent bags of chips and 35 cent honey buns. It's called inflation my friend.

Dope summers and childhood can be defined differently. I would have loved to be able to have the things these lil ? got now when I was a kid, and i'm sure they're havin a great time with what they have, but at the same time, I wouldn't change my childhood.

My niece is 13 & she be over my mother's house during summer.

Whenever I go over mom dukes house, my niece always watching. Whenever I come over there

But then again, she is a girl. so I think its different but if it was my nephew (16 years old) I wouldve been like "? take yo ass outside for awhile & let the sun see you"

its all about perspective...most people here were born in the 70s and 80s so they will say the 90s were GOAT but they will neglect to tell the fact that the ? epidemic was still around, homicide rates among blacks skyrocketed, our cities and neighborhoods were in terrible shape due to neglect, racism, and white and black flight, and marriage rates plummeted and amount of out of wedlock children rose

i'm sure in 20-30 yrs people will be reminsicing on the 2010s as all good
