It was very small. The interrogators came and went. There were different men, different faces. I don’t remember all of them because I was so weak by that point. It's not easy to describe the pain and humiliation of torture.
First they asked for the names of the people I was working with. Then they asked me to confess that I’d been carrying heavy weapons and that I’d murdered a military officer. I was screaming that I didn’t. I was shouting that I just wanted freedom for them, for myself, for everyone. I just wanted to live in freedom. They looked at me blankly. It was like I was speaking to them from another world. So they continued, and they were merciless.
I was still holding out when they hung me from the ceiling by my wrists for an hour, feeling like my body weight was going to break my wrists. When they brought me down, they pulled out a chair and asked me to sit. That was when they pulled down my trousers and held up a sharpened metal pole and a clamp for my ? . When they started to turn the screw, I confessed everything they asked. As Syrians, you grow up hearing a lot about torture. You hear things you cannot imagine even a psychopath doing. They did all those things to us and more. But in Sednaya they didn't even bother with an interrogation. It was ? . Our cell was meant for seven men but it held almost 60. We took it in turns to lie down, and if too many of us were too weak to stand, we lay on each other. There was no bathroom, only a hole in the floor that every man had to share. The smell has never left me.
I was one of the “service” guys. It meant we had to work for our jailers. Sometimes it was just cleaning; other times it was carrying away the bodies. They made us beat people, too. By the end, I didn't even question it. We'd get beaten for not attacking the inmates hard enough. I saw one man kicked to death because our guards didn’t think he had done a good job.The police came in the middle of the night to take my three brothers. Two of them were silent as it happened, but Abdulsalam fought like a wild cat. He thought they were going to try to take me, too, but they left me behind in the destruction of my home and all our possessions.
We asked everyone where the boys had been taken. My mother stood outside every prison, sometimes waiting so long that the sun was too much for her and we had to come and collect her. She did that outside a different place every day, just in case someone would tell her something. My father spent so much of our money, hoping the bribes would bring news from inside. A lot of people tricked us and said they had information. The wait made me empty. It was like there was a hole inside of me. We waited three years.
One day we got a call. They told us they were all dead. They were killed days after they were taken and all that waiting was for nothing. Abdulsalam was my best friend. I still have nightmares about what they did to him. But you know what? Part of me still doesn't believe it. We haven't seen the bodies; we haven't had a death certificate. I still pray for them when I go to sleep, just in case.
don't tell me you give a ? about innocent victims when you literally pretend to not read stuff like this getting posted in this thread.kingblaze84 wrote: »Be careful what you wish for though-
Well to be fair, we don't know if Assad is ordering these things but if he is, then that's horrible. At the end of the day, Assad's crimes are still quite small compared to American ones, but the Syrian regime has been shady for sure.
I do care about innocent victims in war, America has a way bigger body count compared to Assad's regime, but hey, I would be curious to see what Syria would look like with Assad's regime falling. It would be interesting seeing jihadists enslave and chop off the heads of even more religious minorities, especially Christians. It would be interesting seeing even more Christian women being sold off into slavery and being ? .
I don't see Syria being more peaceful with Assad falling down, I see only more chaos, mayhem, and slavery and enslavement of women from jihadis. Seeing all that INCREASE with Assad's regime falling down would be EXTREMELY interesting to me. Feel free to continue cheerleading for Assad's regime to fall. I would die with laughter seeing my predictions come true, but in a meanwhile, Assad is consolidating his grip in territories he controls. That disappoints you, I'm sure. -

LOL, so you don't want Assad removed from power now?? You getting second thoughts?
Either way, Trump has ZERO plans to take out Assad, but he does have plans to take down North Korea's regime sometime this year. The world isn't gonna do ? about Assad, not as ISIS blows up teenage girls in countries that are part of the US coalition. -
At least 22 dead and 59 wounded in the extremely brutal bombing that ISIS claimed responsibility for in Britain last night, many of the dead and wounded teenage girls and their parents. How ironic this attack took place only a few days after Trump begged the Muslim world to stamp out terror. I also found it funny how Trump said Iran is a leading sponsor of terrorism in his speech, yet Saudi Arabian government officials and their friends according to the State Department's internal emails are funding and giving weapons to ISIS and Al-Qaeda.
How hilarious that Trump is now BRAGGING about a 110 BILLION dollar weapons deal with the Saudis as well. I wonder how many of those weapons will eventually end up in Islamic State hands.

Another horrible post from you.
You said REPEATEDLY that you think Assad's govt is illegitimate and that you want him to go. Now that you find out that Assad is consolidating his rule, you're suddenly gonna act like him being safer in power doesn't disappoint you? LOL yeah okay. If you are not disappointed in Assad consolidating his grip on power, then just say so.

Anyone here have family or friends in the Philippines? ISIS is said to have taken over a few towns there, not sure what the truth is because I'm seeing conflicting reports. Either way, militants who joined ISIS in 2014 or 2015 are said to have killed a lot of Filipino soldiers and cops these past few months, maybe hundreds. I haven't paid much attention to the situation in the Philippines but this is surprising to me.

I have also made clear that his crimes still don't come close to America's war atrocities, so yeah, I don't criticize Assad as much as I do America's crimes.
America's foreign policy is without question making things much worse and you better believe America gets more blame worldwide for terrorist groups exploding in numbers compared to any blame Assad may deserve. If you want to bash Assad here, go right on ahead. I've spoken to MAAANNNYYY people on this subject, women and men, and I usually get the same response: America is much more responsible for this situation then Assad. But if you want to bash Assad, by all means, go right on ahead. Enlighten me.
America supporting Israel's apartheid is an EVIL action that GUARANTEES more recruitment for ISIS for many years to come. As bad as Assad is, at least he doesn't support Israeli apartheid. As long as America continues its policies of evil, I expect MORE groups who support ISIS to flourish. -
The situation in the Philippines is getting pretty crazy, ISIS claimed responsibility for what appears to be a big terror attack in a Filipino casino last night, at least 37 dead after a gunman described as a White guy shot at many gamblers and set fires all over the casino. This happened in Manilla, the Phillipines' capital.....Filipino authorities and Duerte are claiming publicly that it was just a "robber", but what kind of robber shoots at gamblers and casino employees all throughout a casino and sets explosions all over the place he wants to rob?
Anyway, Filipino soldiers are so desperate to get rid of the ISIS threat that they're using air strikes against them now, air strikes which also accidentally killed 11 Filipino soldiers yesterday. Amazing how Muslim jihadis are still flocking to ISIS and its banner, despite the fact that Mosul and Raqqa are going to be taken from Islamic State soon. There are also rumors ISIS is responsible for the massive Afghanistan bombing on Monday, in which 100 people were killed, over 461 wounded.

ISIS Claims Manila Casino Attack at Resorts World Complex
The Islamic State militant group (ISIS) has claimed responsibility for an attack on a casino in the Philippine capital Manila that killed at least 36 people on Friday, the group's Amaq news agency said, after officials said there was no evidence of militant involvement.
A gunman burst into the Resorts World Manila entertainment complex on Friday, firing shots, setting gaming tables alight and killing at least 36 people, all suffocating in thick smoke, in what officials have said was a botched robbery.
"Islamic State fighters carried out the Manila attack in the Philippines," the news agency said.

ISIS and their followers have been on a huge rampage these past few weeks, their brutality crossing various continents and over four or five nations. Islamic State officials seem to have been telling the truth last year when they said Trump's election boosted recruitment numbers for them, because the news lately has been shocking. It's becoming obvious ISIS as a terror group is not slowing down, I'll be bold enough to say I don't even think ISIS leadership is in Mosul or Raqqa anymore.
ISIS committed the horrible van attack that killed at least 7, wounded 48 (21 critically) in London just last week and just this morning, ISIS jihadis were bold enough to raid IRAN's PARLIAMENT, on top of shooting at Shia guests in a major Shia monument. 12 dead at least, over 40 injured in the Iranian attacks today.
Ironically, American soldiers attacked and bombed Shia militias affiliated with Syria's government last night in Syria, militias that are fighting ISIS on the ground. As American terrorism increases, ISIS terrorism is increasing as well.......it should be noted that the sister of the Manchester attacker who killed many teenagers and their parents last week blamed American airstrikes killing civilians for her brother becoming angry enough to do what he did.

Salman Abedi carried out his attack at a concert in Manchester, England, as revenge for the bombing of Syria by the U.S., his sister has said.
Jomana Abedi said her brother was “kind” and “loving”, but had been driven to his actions by American military strikes against Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.
“I think he saw children – Muslim children – dying everywhere, and wanted revenge,” she told the Wall Street Journal.
“He saw the explosives America drops on children in Syria, and he wanted revenge. Whether he got that is between him and ? .”

I did say ISIS as a terror group isn't slowing down, they're still very active in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Philippines, among other places. But as a caliphate, yeah they definitely are shrinking. ISIS as a terror group is probably much more dangerous and unpredictable though, so let's see how the world deals with that. I have a feeling the world won't deal with it well.
As far as Assad purposely dropping bombs on civilians, it's terrible of course. But as we all know by now, America has killed WAAAAAAAAY MORE innocent civilians on purpose compared to Assad. Don't forget what Trump said about killing the families of ISIS. America is quite extreme when it comes to its CONSTANT killings of innocent civilians, word to the many Youtube videos from former American soldiers.
http://www.globalresearch.ca/u-s-holds-the-world-record-of-killings-innocent-civilians/5393789
Prof. John McMurtry says that the U.S. government is a gigantic mass-murdering machine which earns profit through waging wars, and is never held accountable over its unspeakable war crimes and crimes against humanity. He also believes that the U.S. has become a police state, which treats its citizens in the most derogatory manner.
“I have travelled alone with only backpack possession through the world, and have found no state in which police forces are more habituated to violent bullying, more likely to draw a gun, more discriminatory against the dispossessed, and more arbitrarily vicious in normal behavior,” said McMurtry. “The US now leads the globe in an underlying civil war of the rich against the poor.”
“The US can … detain, kidnap and imprison without trial or indictment any US citizen or other citizen anywhere by designating them enemies to the US,” Prof. John McMurtry noted in an exclusive interview with Fars News Agency.
--I agree with about 99% of what the professor says. America has a huge amount of foreign enemies worldwide for good reason. America has way more enemies worldwide then Assad does HAHAHAHA, no coincidence. -
For those who wonder why I am MUCH more disgusted at America's FREQUENT mass civilian killings compared to Assad's regime (the Syrian civil war is mostly over now by the way)......

To date, the USA has been responsible for the deaths of at least 20 million people since the end of World War II, in 37 nations. A report by James A. Lucas of Counter Currents explains:
❝
This study reveals that U.S. military forces were directly responsible for about 10 to 15 million deaths during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and the two Iraq Wars. The Korean War also includes Chinese deaths while the Vietnam War also includes fatalities in Cambodia and Laos.
The American public probably is not aware of these numbers and knows even less about the proxy wars for which the United States is also responsible. In the latter wars there were between nine and 14 million deaths in Afghanistan, Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, East Timor, Guatemala, Indonesia, Pakistan and Sudan.
These figures do not include the full figures of more recent violations, such as drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia and Afghanistan.
--Let's hope these numbers are exaggerated? But I wouldn't be surprised if those numbers are accurate, America has been the NUMBER ONE exterminator of innocent life for a very long time now.

How can we be number one exterminator when like Moa killed like 78 million people, 78 is way more than 20 unless my math is wrong. Stalin killed like 60 million people, and that still way more than 20. -

I'm talking for the past 16 years specifically that America has been number one, but I know all about Mao and Stalin.
I've never seen sources that say Stalin is responsible for 60 million dead, but I've seen some that say 20 million. Mao is possibly around the 70 million range, depending on the source that's believed.

Fun fact: Winston Churchill was a White supremacist who may be responsible for the deaths of over 22 million people.
The British Empire killed over 150 million people since the 1700s, making it more deadly then the ? Empire and even the Soviet Union. Just found this out about a few days ago, I knew Churchill killed a ton of Africans and Indians, but I didn't know his crimes were large to this extent.
Just thought I'd bring this up, since we've mentioned Mao and Stalin.
