Actually I don't hear ? playing non of that ? from this whole list in long stretches. And it's subjective, sometimes I'll throw some old ? on and vibe out but that don't make it classic, just some ? I want to hear at that moment. A -

First of all, Melle Mel >>> Kool Moe Dee
Second of all, its not like there can only be one legend from that era. Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee, Grandmaster Caz, Spoonie G, Kurtis Blow and Chief Rocker Busy Bee are all legends. They all brought something different to the game and are all first round hall of famers. -

Ice-T too??? Dude was MAD nice on the mic and put the West on the map... He 'stopped' rapping on top of his game, didnt go down and or go commercial RAP wise...
So what does Ice get pass for??? He became a legend for a reason, he was dope... Dude was from the West and was doing shows in New York with Bambaataa, KRS One, Just Ice, P.E and them...
Ice-T was the first west coast gangsta rapper true. Which is why he got a pass. Even people back then called him wack.
And Preemo was a cat from the south doing east coast music. And Bushwick bill was from New York. And Doc from Dallas, Rage from Virginia etc. Whats your point?
Ice T has one of the best catalogs in hip hop history...
Lmao I'm dying
Yea add Eminem to one of those that still gets a pass -
late af but Snoop was droppin throw aways for years on the features lol

And the Wu made it so that you can sign as a group on one label and then sign solo deals on another label, that was unheard of for hip hop artists at the time. -
