Isn't it ironic that when Obama got elected, a certain group of people were using scare tactics to let the public know they made this huge mistake... and now that Trump is elected, a different group of people are doing the same thing?

I hope it's clear now, that these kind of people are 2 sides of the same coin and should never be taken serious.

They said Obama wouldn't be a good president because he's black...we're saying Trump won't be a good president because he's Trump...

Trump has said he's going to take illegal Mexican remittances to pay for the wall, he could even simply stop remittances from going to Mexico. Mexico gets billions of dollars from remittances it may be more practical for the Mexican authorities to Simply pay for the wall.

    How?

Restrict the wiring of money from non-us citizens into mexican banks or charge a special tax or fee for sending money to Mexico and then redirect that money into a special fund that pays for the wall.

That sounds easy to get around by just going through informal channels or apps

    False equivalence

The reaction to toward Obama was based solely on his skin color. Everthing else was them coming up with unfounded bs to justify their reaction

The reaction to Trump is based on the hateful racist things he has said and promised he will do to the Black,Hispanic and Muslims communities

You can't be this dense. That's how YOU saw it. I guarantee if we questioned someone on the other side of the coin, they would have articulated their reasoning for fearing an Obama presidency through what they see as valid logic, the same way you have with Trump.

In contrast, they probably think your reaction towards Trump is based on the fact that he's a white male and not a so-called minority.

In sum, people who use scare tactics, should never be taken serious. People who use that approach are toxic to EVERYONE.

lol @ yall thinking someone is going to actually build that wall lets be honest

Im really looking forward to see if congress and the house will support or try to block Trumps ? laws he tries to put into action like they did with Obama and how they tried to block/veto anything he tried to enforce. That will tell Amerikkka all it needs to know that it wasnt about politics it was about Obama and his skin color

Warren should've ran this time...woman, populist message, charismatic...

If trump is really vulnerable in 4 years then people are going to want an "established" candidate...

    Man, f**k Elizebeth Warren.

Remember she's the same ? who wouldnt endorse Hilliary or Sanders until Hilliary pretty much had the delegates rapped up because of the fear of supporting the loser.

She sounds more like a political sell out to me. She endorsed something that she claimed to spent her whole life fighting.

Warren is certainly a better presidential candidate than Hilliary, but she aint as good as people think she is.

Those "informal" channels may already be illegal
The constitutionality of any anti Mexican legislation will also be challenged too

There's a difference you're missing and that's that we've already seen the very people Trump was racist and sexist towards already being ? with in public. So just because you can find someone who would say the same about Obama doesn't mean it holds any actual validity and to entertain it or pretend it does is stupid. Meanwhile there's already been multiple stories reported of black folks being harassed Muslim's being harassed and women being grabbed in public with white dudes saying its now "their right" to do so.

Idk about that . What I do know is messican American entrepreneurs will give away around any regulations (keep in mind Messicans are 10% of the us population)
And any trump stuff will be challenged in court

Trump will be appointing a supreme court justice probably 2 because the court is ancient so he'll probably win in court and even if a few mexican american find a way around this it really won't matter because the things i suggested that trump will do will be targeted towards illegals not necessarily Mexican Americans

    1) Have you actually paid attention to the racism fueled vitriol directed towards President Obama?

Are you about to pretend millions of white People didn't refuse to give him a fair shake purely because of his skin color.

Please find me the equivalent with Trump's critics.

    2) What would you call your pages of recent rhetoric regarding Hilary Clinton?

I guess those weren't "scare tactics?"

    3) At what point do we look at these "scare tactics" regarding Trump, as sober assessments of the "FACTS" and "ACTIONS" presented for a given presidential candidate?

Protestors are rejecting Trump's STATEMENTS and ACTIONS ...

Racist Cacs were protesting Obama's SKIN COLOR

There is a big difference, regardless of whether or not you would like to admit it.

The american justice system is going to be very right leaning for the foreseeable future because justice Scalia just died and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is 83, and Justice Stephen G. Breyer is 78.

Those two could die any minute now and trump could then appoint right wing justices.... luckily i don't think trump is as right wing conservative as many people think he is.
