Niccas always come out west and bite our ? and take it back to wherever the fucc there from. Suge is 100 percent right. We had to make rappers respect our culture! Notice how every rapper who think they hard want LA validation

The style Dr. Dre created with The Chronic has been mimicked to death on the east and south. Everyone saw G Funk and tried to get a piece. No shame in it, cause the music was dope but they'll never say it for whatever reason.
-
I don't see it on the funkdafied song
I don't agree with the chronic being bit at this point
I know g-funk influenced
but I think it's a difference between southern g-funk and west coast g-funk
-
Funk music is the real origin
-
I see what he's saying about the artists mentioned. Early 90s West coast influence. At the same time, that was over 20 years ago. There are people born after Kriss kross hit that are in their 20s now and really dont know much about all that. So its like a whats the point thing in a way.

Funk music is the real origin
Yeah and that was influenced by what came before, etc. I figure all that type stuff is understood. Like now people can try to deny it but the South is most influential as far as rap music. There was a time when it was NY and that area, then West Coast. But the NY sound when most influential was influenced by James Brown whose from Georgia. and influenced Heavily. And Jamaica,as well as their own influences.
Its just how it works. Now that the South is most influential, no Southern dudes say anything about people using slang, accents, subject matter, beats, etc. That type of thing can throw you off focus of Moving forward. -
What Dre did with funk music has been mimicked by others. No one has been that revolutionary with an old sound before

2017 and some west coast folks still have an inferiority complex? Do better yall
And yes Ready to Die was very g funk influenced due to Puffy. Biggie had love for all Coast b -

Okay I will be honest with this the whole west coast funk is actually jersey artist. Like kool and the gang and the Pfunk. We just loved the sound out west . But we west coasters made it cool to be hard and talk our ?
