That post may have came out a lil ? but he makes a great point(not about the movie part lol). It's ? like that, that never really gets talked about for some strange reason. Yeah the guy is ? up and lame. But the girl needs to get almost as much shame. So do their families most of all. It's about the UK part lol. If you peep none of them really participate in these debates. The first time I learned about their age limits was in a scary/hilarious way. Cute ass cousin of this Jamaican girl I used to know was from the UK. I was about 22 or 23 at the time. Long story short she was trying to get me to notice her. I found out she was 15. I mentioned something about gambling in Reno. She said she couldn't because she was 15. I told her she need to get a dude around her age, I don't do that Chester ? . She looked at least 19 or 20 smh. She looked at me and said "what's the problem? I will be 16 in 2 weeks". Her cousin had to explain to me that you are grown at 16 over there or some ? like that. Alright, I'll bite. Girls under 18 purposely going for dudes 18 and up. You see how you said "older men going after little girls". That's exactly the point. It's not just one way, you want it to be one way....But in reality it's about even. These little girls know right from wrong, they not that damn naive. Here's what it is......since they're not gonna take the bait.
Basically, those girls really believed all that "maturity" ? that they used as justification to convince themselves that it was ok for them to date older men when they were still in their teens.
However, what few of them seemed to realize is that they only "physically" matured faster than boys their own age......not mentally.
Meaning, there are more teenage girls who can pass for grown women than there are teenage boys who can pass for grown men.
Think about it.......rarely is there ever a situation in which a female thinks a teenage boy is older than he really is.
But these young birds really thought at 16 or 17 that they were on the same maturity level as a ? in his 20's.

So, when they finally got older and figured out those old ? were only ? with them because of their "lack of maturity", they got their feelings hurt and became angry and bitter that they were dumb enough to get played like that.
It usually sinks in for them when they're in their late 20's/early 30's and notice that they're not getting the same kind of attention in the club that they used to when they were younger.
Even worse for them when they see those old ? pass them over for chicks that are as young as they used to be when they first started messing with older dudes.
That's when they have their "aha moment"............as Oprah would say.

Here are the numbers:
31 states have the age of consent at 16.
8 states have the age of consent at 17.
11 states have the age of consent at 18.
So, a 14 year old with a 17/18 year old is illegal across the board. 30 states have Romeo and Juliet laws on the books but in many instances a 17 year old having sex with a 14 year old is still illegal and an 18 year old is definitely illegal. Being one of those states, Texas requires that the younger of the two is over the age of 14 at the time and the older person no more than 3 years older than the "victim". In this case it fails the test because the younger person is 14 so the act is still statutory ? .
A 13 year old having sex with a 15 or 16 year old is most definitely defined as statutory ? . The problem is that when it's a 13 year old and 15 year old, both are guilty of the same crime and, in fact, can both be prosecuted for it.

Girls do pursue older guys. A 16 year old girl will pursue 19, 20, 21 year old guy. I've seen it, I've had to tell young chicks to kick rocks myself when they tried to push up, it's just a part of growing up. What dude is saying, tho, is it's hypocritical of these girls that once pursued older guys to look down on those same dudes once they're older.

When I was 19 I dated older chicks 'cause they thought I was 25-26 years old and I could get away with it because of my demeanor, the way I dressed while at work, and because I could speak to a lot of ? that was supposedly beyond my years.

You gotta remember that those 15-16-year-old girls who lusted after older men were just kids. Now that they're older, they realize (hopefully) that it's wrong for both parties (especially the older and thus presumably more responsible party) to do that, and they're now wiser to know that they wouldn't want their kids to do the same.
You can't fault them for being dumb kids. It's still wrong regardless, so they, now older and wiser, have every right to be mad, especially if they already taught their kids this.
But if your point is that they should have some empathy since they went through the same, then that point is obviously valid, imo. But regardless, males will most often be blamed for sexual mishaps. It's our natural birthright. -
