    Still theres things called buyouts and if he cared enough to put music out he coulda did this at any point in 7 years

    I feel like they would've either released him or his contract would've expired after 7 years. I know Rita Ora isn't with Roc Nation anymore, and her, Cole, and Elec all signed within a year of each other I believe.

    in reality no one really knows why jay elec stopped releasing music. i doubt its just because hes lazy. theres gotta be more to the story.

    ya it sucks that we never got to hear the album. but anybody can get their hands on 3 to 4 albums worth of songs from him. and that ? right there is some of the best hiphop period. ? all that his name shudnt be mentioned ? . rakim dont release music anymore....so we shudnt say his name??

    jay electronica is a legend for what he did...EVEN WITHOUT AN ALBUM...
