Might as well say A.I. is the best shooting guard of all time.
Moss was/is one dimensional, never played with passion, and took plays off (admittedly).
He would barely ? my top 15.
Outside of Rice, T.O., Irvin, who would be in your top 5 ahead of Moss?
Bruh, really? You just start watching in what '02?
? , I'll just go off the head...
Tim Brown, Chris Carter, Art Monk, Steve Largent, Etc, etc.
I know most of y'all don't remember pre-Moss NFL, and y'all probably racked a bunch easy TDs on Madden with moss and saw a bunch of exaggerated "jump ball" highlights on ESPN...
...But trust, dude ain't that nice.
One dimensional.
The same criticism QBs get for their flaws ("can't pass, throwing motion, run too much, no championships, accuracy, weak arm, etc, etc) should also be made on every other position.

Athlete rock some cornrows and get a couple highlights on ESPN and u can't tell ? nothin.
lol -
I do believe he is the most gifted receiver ever (speed, jumping, hands, etc). I didn't help that he never had a Montana and Young his whole career aside for the few years with Brady.
Dude would easily be approaching Rices numbers had he been with the QB's Rice had./ -

Your an idiot....
Most touchdown receptions in a season – 23 (2007)
Most touchdown receptions by a rookie in a season – 17 (1998)
Most seasons with 17 or more touchdown receptions – 3 (1998, 2003, 2007)
Most games in a season with at least 2 touchdown receptions – 8 (2007)
Most yards receiving in a Pro Bowl game – 212 (2000)
Most 1,200+ yard receiving seasons to start a career – 6 (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003)
Fastest player to reach 5,000 career receiving yards – 59 games
Youngest player in NFL history to record 100 receiving touchdowns – (29 years and 235 days)

You can't get that many receptions when you only play "when you feel like it" and only run less than half the routes on the route tree. -
sidenote total receptions are over rated YPC/YAC >

Those guys are before my time. You got five years on me and been following the NFL since day one, so you would be more knowledgeable about this.
Moss being elite at only two routes definitely isn't top 5 material but I think he could at least ? a top 10 list.
In my early Madden days it was either running on ? with Vick or the Culpepper to Moss deep route connection lol -

Exactly. And I haven't been watching football long enough to see all of Chris Carter or Jerry Rice or Art Monk's ENTIRE career, but -- thanks to this being the information age -- there are plenty of videos, articles, stats, facts, and anything you can find on this same computer you're using to post on the CS where you can figure things out.
If we talking "all time" why are ? acting like nothing before 1998 counts?
You don't have to see them live or play with them on a video game to know if they're good or not.
And mind you, I have NO reason to hate on Moss. If I was gon' hate on any all-time Receiver it would be Jerry Rice, 'cause him and the Niners ? on my Falcons twice a year for my entire child-hood, teenage years and damn near into my adulthood until we finally got'em in 1998. lol

until they play sunday,
? it, i'll let the goat speak for himself.

this is all what people say when they criticize Moss but how quickly they forget......when Moss was playing under Minnesota Denny Greean had him running all routes.....Post patterns...quick screens....crossing routes.....dudes was taking quick slants to the house......every route that was in the book randy ran it under denny green........it was until the guy who replaced denny (his name escapes me for the moment).....that the majority of his catches were down the field.....it was called "The Randy Ratio".......
is Moss the goat?....I wouldnt say so.....and for him to be one dimensional....is it really a bad thing seeing how for 13 years that one trick couldn't stopped?....U can't get the kinda numbers he got through his career by being solely one dimensional...once again GOAT?.....I would say no.....not toppin 15....lol...foh -
