Naw, people like to use the "out of touch" argument but the truth is the music nowadays just isn't hittin like previous generations were. Every musical genre in history has a golden age then a decline after that. Rap has been in that decline ever since the mid-2000's. We're basically in the "Kenny G" era of rap right now.

Livin in ATL area keeps you aware of whats going on currently in the music scene. Your not going to go out or ride around or anything without hearing these dudes. All of these dudes get/got exposure. I guess its harder to get into that whole not being in tuned to "new sht" thing here because thats never really happened to me. Not for long at least. Its too much always comin out there's gon be something you like. If people really aint heard of/ dont listen to these dudes why care is how I look at it.
