Its durant imo because of leaving a team that had the greatest regular season team record wise down 3-1 n not only not being able to close the deal due to poor stretches in the closing games with a top 5 player, but leaving to join said team on some if u can't beat em join em ? .
Durant gon look like bron, when he lost to the mavs if warriors lose
He'd look even worse. Lebron made Miami a "super team". You join what some people were already calling a super team that coulda woulda shoulda won back to back 'ships off a 73 win season and you STILL lose?

They really have no choice at this point if they want to get better, Detroit had one of the highest payrolls in the league last year and missed the playoffs....that cant happen. Morris is on a good contract and they're matching any offer KCP gets so its going to come down to trading either Harris, Drummond, Jackson or some combination of the 3 -

Its a tough break because Tobias Harris is actually a player Id want to keep around just because of the way the NBA is evolving but he has the easiest contract to move out of the three since he only has 2 years left on his deal
Drummonds contract is terrible lmao -
No more basketball til October after June 12th

I could see Patty Mills leaving for Philly this off season. Philly got San Antonio to overpay for Manu last season and Mills fits what they need for a longer period than Manu.
Brett Brown was on the Spurs coaching staff when Mills 1st got here, coached in the Australian league and knew Patty when he was growing up also. The Sixers need shooting, a point guard who can play off the ball (even though he is more a small 2 than a 1) somebody who knows the system and veteran leadership. He could start for them from day 1 and be an asset. -
