The media makes him a scapegoat, not the fans.

The same British media that ? on Zlatan for years saying he was overrated, so he single-handedly destroyed England in front of a live audience. The same British media that hyped up England's 'golden generation' yet they got humiliated in every tournament they entered.

Unfortunately the British public buys the ? that the media feed them: even when stats prove the opposite for Ozil there are people that still constantly slate him. It's not a coincidence he's smashes it every time for Germany and has won the German Player of the Year five times. The guy is underappreciated in England and is totally wasted at Arsenal - put him in a decent team and he'd prosper.

The British media hates Arsenal FC with a passion. Soon when we win the league all those fools will look foolish and will have no choice but to praise the team/club.

Henry Wright Merson Dixon Nichols keown Smith, I think by far Arsenal has the most ex players as football pundits, as far as the British Media as a whole hating Arsenal, that's not true Fake News.

It's the AFC fan TV affect. Arsenal is one of the biggest clubs in the world with some of the most ? and moaning cry baby fans ever known to man, so they are looking at the buzz AFC fan TV is getting and they are playing off of that.

Ferdinand, Neville, Giggs, Keane, Scholes, Ince, Cole, Yorke, Hargreaves, Owen.....

Man U got the same if not more as Arsenal

OWEN A Man Utd pundit? mad disrespectful.

He keeps saying we refering to Liverpool their fans hate him

yeah Liverpool fans don't ? with him at all. That's United's boy now

Yo @aggyaf your fam is making moves!

    ve8b8oao7mx9.jpg

Plays for the under 21 squad and just made a transfer to Heerenveen (same club the likes of Van Nistelrooy, Huntelaar and basically every damn scandivanian player went to before they made it big). Just read up about him on the most prominent dutch footy site...apparantly he is considered highly talented and might be playing for the main dutch national squad next season.

So the Premier League agreed on closing the transfer window before the season starts. The issue then becomes teams from other countries can still buy players from them.

Premier League clubs have voted to close next summer's transfer window before the season starts.

Managers have complained that the ability for players to move when the season is under way causes disruption to their squads and preparations.

From next season, the window will close at 17:00 BST on the Thursday before the Premier League season begins.

The vote was not unanimous and clubs will still be able to sell players until the end of the normal window.

The window across Europe runs until 31 August. The Premier League's move means that while clubs will be able to sell until that date, buying activity will cease on 9 August for the 2018-19 season.

European leagues will still be able to buy and sell until 31 August, while the Football League's window also remains unaltered.

Football League bosses have indicated they could follow the Premier League's move but require further dialogue with stakeholders before a decision is made.

The number of Premier League clubs who wanted the change is not yet clear but at least 14 of the 20 must have voted for the move in order for a change to take place.

Can anyone see the stupidity of this? LMAO
And these are the people running football clubs hahaha!

They want to avoid players playing 1 or 2 games for one PL club and then jumping ship to another PL club.

But you could lose your top players and not have ability to replace, it's shortsighted. What's the issue with switching teams after playing simply put in contract they cannot play against us in the epl this season or until after January simple.

It also further increases the cost of buying players because teams are going to say 1. TV money 2. Limited time so pay up or go without

I think its dope if all the European clubs can agree on it closing at the same time... I dont think it would increase prices as clubs will would hopefully just get their business done early and HOPEFULLY players get a full pre season done with their 'new' clubs and teams can start a new season with their squad knowing it wont change...

If other leagues agree its a great move if not just going to have miserable players..... What about during international tournaments no one wants sign during them

The Premier League clubs would just reject bids.

none of this stops the coutinho situation.......

all this does is push PL clubs to react in haste earlier whilst giving a competitive advantage to other leagues in doing business.

e.g. under these rules, if player x ain't signed with an English club by Thurs 10th August, then that clears the path for spanish, french, german, italian etc clubs to pursue player x still for another 3 weeks with english clubs eliminated out the process.

again in that same scenario, it would mean english clubs suddenly dropping serious moolah come Thurs 10th in order to secure deals

I bet this guy was one of the ones who didn't sign for this:
