Okay. Let's play. The teams Kobe killed scoring wise were weak & not worthy? If Jordan was the GOAT, why couldn't he score 81 points on one of the ? teams in the 90s?

Lol people always try to downgrade kobe's 81 point game because it came against the raptors

Great scorers have played against far worse teams before and in the history of the league only one person has had more points in a nba game

LOL....? is funny. If it was that lackluster, how come no one did it before? Jordan played many a ? teams. Magic played many a ? teams. Bird, Wade, Bron, Clyde, Nique, O, Barkley, A.I., Tmac, Vince, Melo & Shaq played many a ? teams. No one. Just Kobe. Why is that my ? ?

Question to anybody in this thread whats more difficult scoring 81 points in 1 game by taking almost 50 shots

OR 5 straight scoring titles averaging 30 + and shooting 50+ from the field and winning 3 titles in that span not going 42-40 and 45-37

Put that in perspective this is over 405-410 games NOT ONE

Again these are things MJ accomplished that Kobe hasnt came close to

Answer that objectively if you can

The 81 is harder considering only him and Wilt did it, and Jordan was unable to even as a jacker and ballhog(early in his career).

And you forget Kobe has the record for most 3 pointers in a game EVER. Jordan struggles to hit 3's. Kobe has a bomb post game that he learned from Hakeem, Jordan has no post game, Kobe d's up and shuts down players like Dwayne Wade and Lebron and causes them to travel and go out of bounds, Jordan does no such thing.

Also Kobe has won 2 and soon to be 3 rings with a par, decent player like Pau Gasol, while Jordan had Pippen(HoF) and Dennis Rodman(great defensive player and rebounder).

And on topic, imo Kobe is clearly already the GOAT, and the GOAT Laker of course(with Kareem or Shaq in a close second). And he's far better than Jordan both offensively and defensively. Another ring just pads his accomplishments.

You killed yourself @ Jordan has not post game fam.. that one of the main reasons why he shot 50% he worked out of the low post especially after his hiatus.... he had the best footwork in the game at that time along with Hakeem. Lol @ Jordan had no post game..

He'll never be Jordan .. nor does he have to.. His legacy.. the moments he left and still leave on the court speaks for themself.. the degree of difficulty to maintain his greatness and alpha dog status in the league is tougher than its ever been. and well. He still is on top.

I think hes cool with being him..

And im glad i got to see two of the greatest players that ever lived.. WiNNING

Now whos gonna be the next Kobe...
Kobe's the biggest MJ Stan of all.

Too bad you can't accept Shaq, showing that Kobe deserved those NBA Finals' MVP Awards, for the '01 & '02 chips
Your memory sucks. Shaq was a machine in those Finals.

In the '01 Finals, he averaged 33 Points, 15.8 REB, 4.8 AST, and 3.4 BLK per game, while Kobe averaged 24.6 points, 7.8 REB, 5.8 AST, and 1.4 STL per game.

In the '02 Finals, he averaged 36.3 Points, 12.3 REB, 3.8 AST, and 2.8 BLK per game, while Kobe averaged 26.8 points, 5.8 REB, 5.3 AST, and 1.5 STL per game.

As long as you and Pancho, don't get mad at what Shaq spoke out of his own mouth during those years...LOL...then I'm lovely with yall putting up all the numbers you want:

by far and wide the largest hallucination that Kobe-haters concoct, is that Shaq was responsible for those (2000-'02) "ships. Especially, harping on how Shaq won Finals' MVP each time, as proof.

So to that element of their hallucination, I remind, of what sat on the top of Shaq's brain as he accept yon eventual NBA Finals' MVP Awards and continued to thrive on the front-line of nba competition:

    (19 MAY 2001)
"That's where I've been trying to get him all year," O'Neal said. "He's been getting his points, getting everybody involved, drawing and kicking, doing the right things. Somebody once said the mark of a great player is how you make the other players around you play. I now can truly say that Kobe Bryant is the best player in this league."

I dont see where Shaq said that Kobe deserved those awards.

if he was awarded MVP's in '01 & '02 after making those comments, from the bottom of his Heart, and sticking to those comments years later, then...LOL...please do feel free to play pretend about what that equates to.

Shaq always ? rides his star teammates everywhere he goes, including Nash.

I could care less if Shaq was said Kobe was the GOAT, it doesnt change the fact that every team in the league was focused on stopping Shaq, and he still destroyed the competition. If you cant recognize the obvious, you're an idiot.
