I have lots of hobbies but I often get questioned on things I do by preconceived notions of what I should be doing based on who I am.
I've been to Africa several times and white people always ask me why I would want to go there because "I'm not black" or black people say that I enjoy interacting with wild animals because that's "crazy white people ? ".
How about just enjoying things you like to do because it is cool?
I love hiphop but I think AC / DC and Metallica are dope too. Can't I like both? -

being a hobbyist is one of the many joys in life, it shows that you are decided, passionate and its very productive.
i'm steady building up my CD collection, and i decided to stop downloading music, unless
there isn't a physical copy, and if there's one coming out, i'll wait for that one. -
