Samsung Galaxy S3...Knockin em out da box!

I'm due for an upgrade. I was checking for the HTC Amaze due to me being a fan of HTC. But I'm checking the website and this Samsung GS3 got the doc stuck on stupid. ? is real nice. Pebble like design. Screen real estate is looking at 4.8", Super AMOLED 1280 x 720 screen. 2GB of RAM. 32GB of internal memory (and then you got the SD card for more mem, up to 64 gigs), 1.9 front facing camera with the 8 pixel joints for the back cam. Packed for the summer, you get the ice cream sandwich (Android OS). And the dual core snap dragon is on deck (International versions get the 1.4 Quad Core). Not to mention the pictures taken from the camera looks gorgeous.
Who got this phone? What's your take? This is pretty much the only phone I am considering besides the HTC Amaze (which is unfortunately outdated, if I really give a ? about staying with current tech). The big turnoff with HTC's One is that it has no internal memory. That's a big flaw. I'm downloading movies, games, porn, and of course music. I don't want all my mem being used in just the SD card. And I need screen real estate; One's too tiny.
Again, I wanna know from the folks who got it. And if you got opinions, drop those thoughts.

That phone is crazy it ? on Iphone with specs alone. Only wish SGS111 had HTC UI, Samsung makes beter equipment but HTC user interface (UI) is so much better IMO. I get my upgrade in august so I going with S3 for my replacement soon as I get it its getting rooted and bloatware taken off to make it even faster.

But unless I find a good music play app for android I am going back to the iphone. -

MyMusicOn is the best android music app I've used. -
I am still on the fence. The EVO has some of the same specs. the only reason I want the SIII is becuase I want the advance "bump" feature and the camera specs. Plus the SIII looks better. I know that all the manufacturers will be making all kinds of stuff for the SIII too.
You can barely buy a aftermarket case for the EVO sometimes.
Everything else makes me want the EVO.

I gotta give EVO credit...its like a 37 yr old boxer that can hang wit the young cats. It does its thing no doubt. But if you peep what's under the hood for this S3, it can only mean that once this bad boy is rooted...you are definitely gonna be on the cutting edge.
Lol, unlike iphone users who gotta wait for the next iphone drop. In actuality, the iphone is really dead in comparison. It's just that the consumer don't know how to use the tech, its intimidating. So why not get a fisher price "my first smartphone" iphone. It makes sense for those users. On the real, iphones has not advanced by a great deal. But I could care less about a iphone and its hold your hand tech.
Downside to this though, battery life. You going to need an extra battery or keep the charger on deck if you're an heavy user like I am.
Another point mentioned was the UI. I hate samsung's UI since the days of flip phones. It just seem to be alot of unnecessary steps. This will be my first Samsung in a long time. Nothing beats HTC intuitive UI. There's no comparison.

I just picked it up a few days ago & it works fast & smooth. I did like that you can hide the apps that come loaded on the phone you don't like/use

The iphone 4s is 9 months old, obviously the new samsung joint is better.

I just root my inspire 4g, I bought the outtabox case when I got the phone so ? basically brand new. Lawd I won't need another phone anytime soon.

yea that's what i didn't get. With the evo i got now it was the 1st phone with 4g but yet the new evo has to wait on the LTE network
Does the samsung phone have to wiat on that LTE also or can it use the current 4g
