SMH at the number of people who feel the need to defend / justify homosexuality.

Y'all are pretty much trying to get people to accept it too.

Good point. But here's the thing: My definition (the RIGHT definition) of 'homosexual' is pretty well defined. People who are sexually attracted to the same sex. Think about that and then reconsider those questions you asked.

You don't think at some point people who consistently ? people of a particular gender are sexually attracted to them. I'm not saying that dudes go into jail thinking other dudes are sexy as hell, but after spending years having sex with men, they have to develop some form of sexual attraction. That said in both cases, the people doing ? ? probably had no homosexual inclination before the incident that pushed them in that direction and they may not have any inclination after the get past whatever pushed them in that direction.

So a serial killer for example was born to ? ? Or someone is born a racist? Just b/c you have that "desire", you still choose to act on it. Whateva lifestyle that person chooses, that's their business. I just have an issue with folks tryin to compare that with being black. B/c it's not the same.

Maybe having our civil rights discriminated against, but that's it. Again, you can hide being ? . But you can't hide being black.

Aight, so let me ask you this: In your opinion, if a ? is sexually attracted to men only, but never actually has sex with another man...is he ? ?

And as far as the black vs. ? thing, I think that's all they mean when they make that comparison. Both have/had rights infringed upon. That's what I mean when I make that comparison. When you look at it like that, I'd say the comparison was pretty accurate.

The point of telling everyone is to Let the people around you know about the life you may or may not have been hiding.

I dont think the media pushes this to,make the world accept gayness, but to let people know its okay to be who you are.

I don't agree with that. The media is most definitely trying to make the world accept gayness. If it was just a matter of letting people know it's okay to be who you are, they'd just find ways to make that general statement. Instead, they push the ? agenda. It's one thing to talk about ? right in a political setting. It's another thing to flood every media outlet with conversation about a ? dude making it known that he's ? .

    Whats pushing the ? agenda?

This man is a public figure and no matter what someone would, have found out and then his business is everywhere. Its only so big cause he famous.

The dude has been ? . He even said other people knew. No one cares that much. It's only a big issue because he revealed it and now every news outlet is making it the top story. That's pushing an agenda. This ? shouldn't be front page news. Should it be reported? Yeah, I guess, but with all the ? going on nowadays, this should not be the biggest topic around.

That's not pushing the agenda, but reproof the news. Is it pushing the ? white women movement when Lohan is all over the need news...no.

Him telling the media is just saying dont go crazy when you see me at the ? club or holding hands with a dude.

I doubt its the biggest news around and for a nba ? he was brave. He could be causing all types of trouble for himself.

I'm not mad at him for doing it. I'm just tired of this whole thing. Let ? be ? and be done with it. I watch basketball because I like the sport, and I don't need to know who they are ? . The fact that I can't even get through a game wrap-up without some 20 minute long conversation about some dude admitting he likes to pack fudge is ridiculous.

And I hate the comparison of being black to being homosexual. It's not the same thing at all. When it all comes down to it, a person's sexuality is their own business. There is no reason it should be public, and if they choose to make it public then it's on them to deal with whatever consequences arise. You can't hide being black. It's not something you can privatize or keep to yourself. It's who you are, not something that revolves around what you do.

    That's what I was thinking.

Like...what was the purpose of the announcement?

OK you're ? ...but why do I need to know about it?

It's funny because other celebs/politicians are making it seem like dude did something groundbreaking or profound.

Saying they're proud of him, they support him, and all this other BS.

Just because he said he was ? ?

If an athlete held a press conference or an interview with Sports Illustrated confessing that he likes fat women is he gonna get the same kind of support?

Would all these people start talking about how courageous he is and how much they support him and how groundbreaking this is for society?

    @Sion......LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

This dude's been in the NBA for 12 years and hasn't received any level of national attention until he announced that he was ? .

Seems like he just wants attention and is trying to cash-out on his sexuality.

Maybe extend his career a few extra years and pick up some endorsements that he normally wouldn't have been able to get based on his own merits as a player.

I wouldn't be surprised if dude really isn't ? at all and this is nothing more than a publicity stunt.

Can't blame him for trying to get paid, but surprised so many people are buying into this ? .

And just because a particular person was born a certain way, doesn't make it natural or the right way to be. Some people are born blind or deaf. Clearly humans have eyes and ears for a recent, so a normal human is supposed to have sight and hearing. If that human comes out without those two senses, something went wrong.

Likewise, males are born with a ? . Females are born with a ? . Those are two complimentary sexual organs. Males have sperm; females have eggs. Those are two sex oriented cells that again are complimentary. So if the male and female sexual components are designed to work together, then clearly sex is meant to be between male and female. If a male comes out with no sexual interest in females or vice versa, something went wrong there.

That's we're the unbalance in nature comes in. Nothing is perfect but there will always be a balance and an unbalance. It may not be the norm but it definately not uncommon to happen.

Idc what another man does in his bedroom.. BUT, it's totally disrespectful when ? compare their struggle to Blacks of any time frame (e.g. comparing their movement to the Civil Rights movement).. plus, a ? can hide the fact that he's attracted to men, but Blacks can't hide the fact that their Black..

I'm not sure why people think being ? is a choice. Just MsSouthern said, nobody chooses to be straight. It's just in your nature. Nobody taught you to be attracted to women. You just are. Same for ? who are ? . They didn't wake up one day and say 'I'm going to be attracted to men now.'. They just are. ? seems pretty clear to me.

SO YOU TELLING ME THAT KIDS/TEENS AINT JUST BEING/DOING ? ? CAUSE ITS IN NOW?..

LIKE THAT 1 CHICK THAT GOT THE "I KISSED A GIRL AND I LIKED IT SONG".. U THINK THEM LIL GIRLS WASNT DOING THAT ? ?... OH OK

Dro, you smarter that this, son.

U OBVIOUSLY NOT.. JUST LIKE DRUGS, SKINNY JEANS, OR ANY OTHER THINGS THAT DEEMED AS COOL, MOST KIDS/TEENS WILL FOLLOW IT... FACTS
LOL, hell nah.. a clothing fad isn't comparable to sexual orientation..

If people just accept homosexuality and let ? be ? , then we wouldn't have any "coming out" speeches. I mean especially with celebrities and politicians, people really seem to care about their personal lives where it gets to the point that they feel the need to explain themselves, clear out the rumors blah blah. I personally don't care about anyone's sexual orientation. It doesn't affect me in anyway who someone chooses to sleep with. If they have been getting all this reactions about their homosexuality then of course I understand why they would feel the need to come out and tell that they are not afraid to be themselves.

No, the media is not pushing a "? white women movement" when they do ? like that, but they are most certainly pushing an agenda. Celebrity news makes big money, so developing an atmosphere where people think ? like that is important, and then profiting off of it is the agenda.

And once again, I didn't say the guy was pushing an agenda. He's a ? man that's down for the ? cause, so he's standing up for that cause. I said the media is pushing that agenda, and yes, it's the biggest news around. I was at the gym on the treadmill yesterday. They have 10 TVs up, all on different channels. That story popped up multiple times on at least 8 of the TVs. That's ridiculous.

As far as influence from the media to celebrities I can see it. I live near a High School and that ? is so common to see now. Complete 180 from when I was in school especially amongst Blacks and Latinos
