I'm surprised that Donny didn't ask Rocky how could he let his dad die like that. "Why didn't you or Duke throw in the towel, Unc?

When he was arguing with Rocky. Don't believe Donny wanted closure for that in particular. -
I saw it and the movie was good as hell

That whole generation of 70's actors (Stallone, Pacino, De Niro, Keitel, Walken etc.) was really tough and paid a ? load of dudes on and off set. Michael B. Jordan who comes from a spoiled and sissified generation by comparison could always benefit from Sly's wisdom.
That's an idiotic statement.
Has Michael B Jordan said or done anything that would lead you to believe he's spoiled or sissified?
Besides it's not as if there weren't actors in the 70s who weren't ? .
Michael B. Jordan is a whitewashed ? type. Just watch his damn interviews if you want a source. Or look up how many times he's had to retract twitter statements. I like the dude's acting but he comes across as a punk.
Yeah but the ones who had prominent careers weren't is my point. Michael B. Jordan is still growing though. Dude ain't even out his 20's yet and a lot of those cats from the 70's were already in their 30's when they were where he is now. They were also in an era where actors got a rawer deal than today. They had a certain maturity to them through experience in the 60's and stuff that he still hasn't learned but could learn from cause that's why they're still in high regard. A lot of those guys like Nicholson or Sidney Poitier and James Caan.

For Sly I'm not surprised. My cousin told me earlier that it's not only his best performance yet as Rocky but it might be his career best performance overall. I'll be catching this on Monday morning cause it was sold out yesterday. It would be poetic justice that he finally wins an oscar for the only role he was ever oscar nominated for. -
I think it's gonna be very close between
Benicio Del Toro for Sicario, Sly for this movie and Tom Hardy for The Revenant when it comes to Best Supporting Actor next year. -

@Broddie go see the movie man. You won't be disappointed
-
Went yesterday and it was sold out. Won't be able to till Monday morning cause my weekend is very busy.
-
MBJ/Ryan Coogler might be the next Denzel/Spike
-
Tried to see it tonight both showtimes i wanted were sold out ill catch it tomorrow

Coogler could be bigger than Spike imo. Spike kinda became "that black director" and now he's "that black director who used to be good" -
This ? brought tears to my eyes a couple times though. powerful movie

MANNNNNNN RUDY MAMA STILL LOOKS GOOD FOR HER AGE MAYNE! -

Lol. Tone Trump cameo, ? got knocked out.
Also shout out to Tony and Mike Wilbon, they was really discussing Apollo Creed like he was a real fighter and like it was a real episode of PTI.
bruh when he called him Baby Creed I was like oh ? lol
that might've been the weakest point to me. i get it was supposed to seem disrespectful but it didn't seem as bad as donnie reacted to it. the way the mack 10 lookalike was talking to his girl seemed more disrespectful imo -
I must've seen a different movie from everybody else. Being generous I give it a 6 out of 10 but I felt it was overly predictable and a few things could've been left out and more background on others workout providing any spoilers
I gave it 5/10 agree w you -
Creed entering the ring to Tupac and being called "Hollywood" especially with all the Brits yelling.... GOAT.
-
Movie was great way better than Southpaw. Id ? the hearing back in that deaf chick

Doni was already all in his feelings at that point. It wasn't so much that the Baby Creed was mad disrespectful or more disrespectful than the poppin off dude did to his girl. It was that Doni was already emotional and ready to pop off himself after the little episode with Rocky at the gym right before. -

Not for Best Supporting Actor. He's the lead.
I do think he's finally gonna get his Oscar for that movie though.
