it supposedly could happen if l.a misses out on greinke
Yea they just mentioned this on mlb network.Braves tryna get high end talent for shelby miller
Braves asked the yankees for severino, the giants for panik and duffy and the dbacks for aj pollack for miller -
i wonder how much it is the dodgers souring on him than it is doing it to fill the hole greinke leaves (if he doesnt sign back)
if joc could be adam dunn in his prime with that crazy hr/obp but with legit defense in the OF
sign me up -
i seen a headline that said hector olivera was let go by his winter league team
didnt feel like clicking though but that cant be a good thing -
LA better keep Joc. They already might be trying to get rid of Puig. Ethier is meh. Crawford is up and down. That outfield is gonna be suspect if Joc gets traded.

I actually think this would be a good look.Bonds could hit and had the best plate discipline I ever saw -

about time the greatest hitter in baseball history was recognized for his genius -- he had been helping out the giants players the past couple of years here and there during spring training
brandon crawford, he of the new 6 year 75 million dollar deal -- credits bonds for becoming the hitter he is now -

cf is going to be a tricky spot for the cubs
not much on the free agent market there
the cubs do have a lot of intriguing internal options though but could really use another year to evaluate those guys to see how close to mlb level they are -
Dave Roberts saying all the right things at his presser.

They can promote almora he can defend but can't hit yet.The question is Do the cubs need another hitter in that lineup or strong cf defense with schwarber and soler at the corners.Almora was impressive in spring training -

soler has spent all of his professional career in the outfield and still plays it like its his first day out there but with kyle i think there is hope -- hes not as bad as he was in that mets series -- he was mostly fine for 50 games out there, he just had a really bad 4 to say the least
something seemed to click with almora the last few months this year after struggling at the plate for the last couple of years
i would like to see the cubs give him a real chance this spring training -
David price to Boston 7 years/ $217 million $31m per
-
Yo wow...David Price you ? ass ? . Anybody but the Red Sox bruh. Smh
-
Price can opt out after 3 years
-
A lot of money for a guy who ? himself every time the playoffs start
-
0-7 5.21 era as a starter in the postseason
-
Now let's go trade for Fernandez, don't stop now
-
waiting on Brian Cashman to do something
-
Red Sox signed hanley and sandoval last year and price this year. They blowin money fast
I'd take price over lester tho -

Lol that ? will be 33 in 3 years, he's not opting out of a damn thing. They'll be paying him top dollar past his r prime which sounds GOAT to me -

Grienke is 32 now and opted out after 3 years after at the time signing one of the biggest contracts a pitcher ever got
If Price pitches good he'll most likely do the same to get more dough -

The market is only going to rise if he pitches well especially that 3rd year he can probably go earn a bigger contract -
I expect grienke to get a 5 year 150+ deal and to either stay wit the dodgers or sign wit the giants.Zimmerman and Price are off the board so the market is set for the rest of these 2nd-3rd tier pitchers.Don't want that ? john lackey and I bet that's who the cubs sign smdh

Give up BOTH and you can have soler then the cubs can sign jason heyward and shake up the foundation of baseball to epic proportions
