Why Isn't Snoop Discussed More With The GOATS???

When you think about it he's probably had a top 3 impact in the game I mean all over the world every race old or young if ppl only know one rapper it's Snoop Dogg, he has the classic(s) in his catalog and classic songs, he's had the success, he's had the longevity, he's penned classics for Dre, he has shown elite skills on the mic, he checks every category you'd wanna check to be in goat conversation but yet for sum reason he always gets left out why is that??? I believe if Snoop was from NY with his resume he'd be seen as top 5 all time but ppl don't even put him in their top 10 so what's missing???

Because while ? is a classic and easily a top 5 gangsta rap album, the rest of his albums are well bleh.

? bring Snoop only Good album is a lie. No limit top dogg, blue carpet, R&G,etc are pretty good albums

I ain't never heard nobody mention Snoop in their top 10. Snoop gets a pass because of his contributions to The Chronic, and ? will forever be an undisputed classic. Other than that........... -

Because he only has 1 classic album, his quality went down (Last good album was The Blue Carpet Treatment) and he got people writing his rhymes.

R & G and Blue Carpet Treatment are good albums.....but they're not classics. -

Too over saturated. He's the rap equivalent of Michael Jordan's last Bull shot going into his Wizard run. He had the perfect walk off with Rhythm and Gangsta but kept going into parody.

Snoop makes good music but as a rapper hes really not that good. When you talk to a hip hop head, someome who studies the culture past and present, usually every emcee in his or her top 10 will have a few breath taking verses. Snoops legendary status is not because of his bars.

I don't see snoop as a great rapper like a Nas or a Rakim, ? was a classic because of Dr Dre he is still a legend tho with a shitload of good music.
