You know bruh ... I really don't know right now ... I think I like it more than 808's and graduation and certainly cruel summer ... But don't get me wrong ... This is a weird ass album ...but I like weird I like unpredictable so that don't bother me ...Im going I have let it marinate for at least a few more days to really peep all what's going on ..content wise this ? is everywhere and I think the leaked track sequencing is ? up from the actual retail versions so that may help put ? in proper order .. Make it more digestible .. All those dance influenced tracks lumped together dosent seem to make sense ..
I don't give a ? bout pitchfork really on a personal note ... But I can see them calling this album too disjointed or simply brilliant ... I didn't expect them to give dark fantasy a 10 ... So this ? could get anything from a 4.5 to a 9.5 ... Idk
Nah b .... I don't think he's challenged his listeners like this before ... Even with 808's sonically that ? was all cohesive for the most part ... The mood the vibe of that album was the same ... It didnt go high to low like this one ... It didnt go all over the place with content ... Maybe Dark Fantasy cos that really had some wild sounds ..but nah I've never heard him on records quite like this ... And the album dosent have that typical sonic "polishing" that I'm used to with his work .. It's just raw
