50 Greatest NBA Players: the Next Ten

In 1997, the NBA released the 50 greatest players list. NBAtv did a show, adding ten players to the list.
This was a very entertaining show. Peep it. IF you are an nba fan, its well worth the 22 minutes.
A lot of saltiness and REALNESS outta some of the panel.
Including: Steve Nash is overrated. Bill Walton shouldn't've been on the list. Scottie Pippen shouldn't've been on the list.
Dominique got hosed. Shaq thinks Penny is better than D-Wade. Thinks T-Mac is better than D-Wade.
What are you guys thoughts? who should've been droppoff of the top 50?

I'm prolly as big a KD fan as anyone, but I can't put Durant on that list over D-Wade. If he had even ONE championship sure, but an MVP and four scoring titles isn't enough to take off a 3x Champ, Finals MVP, and one scoring title.

1. Bill Walton
Here's who I'm leaving: Scottie Pippen.
Reason: If you take him off, you'd also have to take out James Worthy.
Here's who I'm adding in place of Bill Walton: Dominique Wilkins
Here is who is in the "next ten" who I'm not adding:
Ray Allen- was not the dominant player on a dominant team.
C Webb- nah son, he wasn't ever the premiere player at his position.
J Kidd- not enough offense
G Payton- edged out by Nash's 2 MVP's
T-Mac- the next "Dominique". the next ? in next time the list is redone.
Vince- see Ray Allen's comment

Nash ain't better than Peyton or Kidd. Both played defense. If Walton on that list then grant hill and penny and tmac should if it's on great talent taken by injury. Webber should be on that list

Say what you want but nash is a top 5 facilitator primary job of the pg..
Payton couldnt qb like nash and is known as a great shooter but almost underrated because he never cared to shoot alot -
? kidd in his prime was almost a walking triple double. he could have won mvp in 03 when duncan won.
when kidd got the rebound he got that fast break going like magic -

But you got Nash on there but not GP or Kidd, that's blasphemy
And Reggie Over Ray makes no sense to me
I don't really have a issue with your next 10 besides that and that and the order
I don't think Wade should be in there but ehhh, it's debatable I guess

They made some interesting points..but lost credibility to me having Chris Webber on the list especially making the argument Cwebb over Dwyane Wade...cmon if Webber wasn't on the panel he wouldn't have got a vote...look at the résumés.

Also looking at when the 50 greatest list was complied there were a few who shouldn't have been on the list. It was made in 1997..so Shaq at that point in his career shouldn't have been on that list. He was only five yrs in at that point..props to him for acknowledging that. I wish the list was 50 greatest regardless of position..that would make it a little more accurate.. Bill Walton definitely shouldn't be on the list..but because of the 10 per position requirement he got on.

Yea they said Webber on some "ima just throw his name out there bc the casual fan might not know him" ? , i notice they do that a lot on that show to try and hype up forgotten players, look at how they were overrating Grant Hill,Mcadoo and Nique.. -
