The crime drama stars Coen Bros. favourite John Turturro and Star Wars: Rogue One's Riz Ahmed, and has been created by novelist Richard Price (The Wanderers) and Oscar-winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian. Loosely based on the 2008 UK series Criminal Justice, it will delve deep into the complexities of the US justice system.

It will focus on Ahmed's Nasir Khan, a young man from a Muslim family in Queens, who is accused of committing a murder he has absolutely no recollection of. In desperation, he hires Turturro's Jack Stone, a defence lawyer who may be in way over his head. Supporting players include HBO regular Michael K. Williams .

Started July 10. James Gandolfini was originally cast in the role of Jack Stone but when he passed Robert DeNiro stepped in but when he had to drop out John Turturro was cast.
