? gave the talent, drive and hard work to write those rhymes, stay up all night in the studio to create great music, reap the benefits off it to get out whatever negative situation they've been in before they made it and to help their homies/associates. So basically you have those that thank The Most High is actually genuine with it...everyone seem to forget it was Hip Hop that saved some lives.

You assuming that these people believe in what you believe in though. If the person doesn't believe in a ? or organized religion why should they feel some type of way for not giving thanks? Everything that you stated in the bolded is subjective, yet you state it as fact.

DOESNT MATTER WHAT THEY BELIEVE IN, WE ALL ARE STILL GODS CHILDREN

    Matthew 5:45
45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

THEY MAY NOT ACKOWLEGE HIM, BUT THERE PROSPERITY COMES FROM ?

Muffugas ? me @ each others throats over "beliefs" and over questions that you won't have a definitive answer to until you're 6 feet under. Whatever has you living right.....go for it. All that other ? is nothing more than divisive distractions. The sooner you stop trying to force people to "believe" what you "believe", the better off we will all be. People have their own opinions, own experiences, own level of knowledge, own frame of reference. There are people who are free thinkers and those who would settle for others thinking for them. Such is the world that we live in. It's called belief and faith for a reason. It's called theories and hypothesis for a reason. None of it is indisputable fact.

I don't know how old you, or some other posters are, but I'm old enough to remember rappers being openly MOCKED for thanking ? during acceptance speeches for awards etc...many saying "How can they rap about certain things but thank ? " and even requesting rappers stop doing it...maybe some stopped doing it publicly so they wouldn't have to answer that ? question anymore...maybe they decided in a much more public celebrity world to keep somethings in their lives private...

    What?

Just because you not a Christian doesn't mean you would have something against the Christianity references in GKMC.. doesn't mean you can't enjoy it either..

*Smh @ idiots thinking Born Sinner is some demonic or anti-Christian message...calling yourself a born sinner is probably one of the most Christianity related things you can do...I'm not an athiest, but it's stupid ? like that that makes Christians the target for being mocked and being called ? who believe anything they're told

That comment is not directed to those who are repsectful of another person's belief (i.e.-i'm not Musilim, but i bump Freeway)

My comment is geared toward the 'f' religion, f' ? , etc, etc crowd...like this guy:

Lest i remind you, blasphemy = contempt of ? , not of Christianity specifically

You could believe in ? and not necesarily be a Christian (that's not my personal belief), but these dudes commentin dont believe in ? at all... then wonder why GKMC is touchin they soul Hahaha

And you know this how? Take a quote directly from Jay himself about his beliefs, or go on speculation based on misunderstanding lyrics and an album cover? And before you stupidly call me a Jay-Z stan the only album of his I've ever bought was The Blueprint and The Black Album so you can miss me with that lining his pockets or being a stan ? ...

I think ? like Jay-z know religion has questions that can't be answered, and they play on that to keep people talking. Its like free publicity. Same as all that Illuminati ? . They do that ? so u pay attention to all their music and people eat it up.

Look @ the cover art for WTT. Cmon son. Its blatant. Im not religious so the ? dont bother me.
What u think he meant "? all these fairytales"? he talkin about Biblical stories that are basically myths.

What was the Watch The Throne album cover about?

Here u go trollin. U misreadin my post. Im not advocating for one side or another, im just pointing out the intent.
I could give a ? who u thank @ an award show. But i still notice the change.

As for the cover art on watch the throne, i take it as Jay n Ye making fun of Christianity cuz (as stated before) its the safest religion to attack.

You didn't answer my question. What was the album cover about? What on that metallic ass cover says "roflmaoz @ christians teehehehe"?

    Baphomet is on the cover.

Even if this stupid ? was true, what purpose does it serve? I mean, if people are seriously deserting their religious beliefs and foundation simply because of an album cover's ability to be interpreted in multiple ways, they were weak as ? to begin with and would have "lost their faith/religion" anyway...you CHOOSE to not believe in ? or they don't...can't nobody take your beliefs away from you no matter how many times you see Jay-Z pop an Ace of Spades bottle open or see Kanye in a leather dress
